Pol’and’Rock Festival (formerly in 1995-2017 known as Woodstock Festival Poland) is held annually in Poland [since 2004 in Kostrzyn city]. In 2012, the Swedish band Sabaton performing, there were over 550,000 spectators. The song is about the Warsaw Uprising Aug 1, 1944 - Oct 2, 1944. The Polish Resistance Movement fought against the Nazi German occupation. During the Uprising about 16,000 Polish soldiers and 200,000 civilians were killed, 700,000 expelled from the city. Warsawy was razed to the ground. It was supposed to be a punishment and a warning for other German-occupied countries.

good reaction, but I think I have to correct you about the location. Since 2004 the Pol"nRock festival (had to be renamed because of copyright issues with the original Woodstock) takes place at the city of Kostrzyn nad Odrą about 80 kilometers (55 miles?) east of Berlin at the Polish/German border. You can imagine that not only Polish people would visit the festival, but some Germans too. It is great how the music of Sabaton brings young people from nations, that were enemies 70 years ago, peaceful together. A bigger contribution to international understanding than many politicians could ever provide.
according to the album notes and accompanying documentary on the earbook .. 650 000 people. This whole concert is pure fire. 40:1 is just as awesome. The only thing missing in this concert is tanks on stage...

@@DeusMaquina From 1995 to 2017 the name of the festival was "Przystanek Woodstock", the renaming to "Pol'n'Rock" happened in 2018.
