India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacts with Former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates at PM's residence in New Delhi. During the interaction, both the leaders discuss a wide ranging aspects of artificial intelligence and digital payments.
During the interaction Bill Gates told PM Modi, “One of the themes that India brings to the table is that technology should be for everyone." The interaction comes in the midst of the preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Earlier in February when Gates was on his India visit, the billionaire said he discussed several local and global issues such as digital public infrastructure, women-led development and innovation, and was blown away by the country’s strong focus on these issues. Gates said he was optimistic that India would lead the way in using AI for the public good.
