Vídeo maravilhoso ❤ tudo perfeitamente mostrado como o verdadeiro vale do Douro é!!👏👏👏👏👏 Muito obrigada por ter escolhido participar da nossa experiência a bordo do Daurum Solar Boats!
Dear Agnes, this video brought me back in time at 2013 when i First visited Douro Valley and the city o Porto. I found such Amazing wines apart front Porto wines which were Amazing. I stayed in Pinhao and Villa Real for 1 week and then i came to Oporto. Still Remember those wine expertices in several quintas alongside the River and Villanova de Gaja 😁🍾🍷
Best Douro valley wine travel video ever Agnese! You're so awesome. 💌🏩 All the great wine destinations in the world are made better when Agnese visits them.🤟🍀
I drove upstream in the spring of 2019 from Porto to Peso da Régua on a hired 500C with the rooftop down. The views were trully magnificent. Our last stop was a tasting at Vasques de Carvalho's wine bar where we tasted everything they had and the most memorable was going through the 10, 20, 30 and 40yo Tawnies. I miss that place so much...
Love the Douro! But also love the sea, so I’m moving from the US to the Minho region in October. I AM a composer actually. So perhaps I’ll compose that symphony. ;-)
😄😄😄 could You please? I was really so moved by the beauty of the nature in Douro, that I felt it inspires to write, paint compose, to be creative’ ☺️ So I hope You do compose that symphony! 😌
We're considering a trip to the Douro Valley but our interest is less in fortified wines and more in their still red and white wines. How Port-Centric are the wineries in the Valley? Would we be better off going to another area in Portugal?
Nooo, definitely visit Douro. If course Port is their main attraction and has historic meaning. But all of these houses make dry wines, because without them it would be difficult to economically be sustainable. You can visit houses in the Vila Nova de Gaia or in the valley of Douro! 🍷
This is part of video format I do, and It is not made to compete to how much wines taste and how much wineries to visit. But rather overview of the region. 🙏🏻

It definitely should be on the bucket list! Amazing place to visit. 🙌
Traveling vicariously through Agnes!
I think one of the best promotional films I have ever seen for Portugal saudé😊
Hahah, it was not done as a promotional video, but more to share our experience in the Douro which I loved so much. Thank You for the compliment. 🙏🏻

Nice video to give a good summary, but not very much wine?? 🍷 Pinhao is a lovely village.

Thanks, port is so under-represented on TH-cam. Also, which restaurant did you visit?
