I am a Kashmiri boy who's spent all his life out of the valley. I barely understand any Kashmiri. But listening to these Bhajans by RaviMech brings me a lot of peace. Spent a major part of my childhood listening to these songs at Kashmiri weddings, or on my parents' tape recorder. The joy I see in my father's eyes as I play it for him.

Puneet miskeen your comment made me sad after learning that u can hardly understand any kashmiri sentence,i can understand that itz not an easy task to remain connected with ones mother tongue or retain ones cultural values that too ,when u r far away from your motherland living in a society who dont know even abc of your mother tongue and culture.Try to remain in touch with your mother tongue by listening to kashmiri songs(devotional,classical etc),by talking to your parents in kashmiri language and u will realise how sweet your mother tongue is❤❤lots of love from sopore from a young kashmiribrother born in 90's May God bless all kashmiris
