Mana i am with you on the choice of characters that Dawntrail had. G'raha and Krile should have been the only ones who made the trip, the rest should have stayed home. I was hoping that Valigarmanda would have been around longer then just being killed off so quick. Next time put PJ's on instead of jumping into bed fully dressed. You have come around faster then i did for the story. Enjoying your journey and cant wait for more.

I love every rant in these! Ali got done dirty, and that's all I need to be a grump about DT

I guess I'm okay with Alisaie being a healer even though it seems weird because we've seen her do a bunch of cutscene healing in the past. There's even an optional line in Endwalker where you can compliment her healing skills. I do think you're right that they gave Alisaie the job mainly because they wanted to let Krile kick ass for a change though. Could have easily been either of them.

I'm not really bothered that Alisaie can heal, but more so that both Alisaie and Krile's characters were ignored to set this up. Krile is a professional healer, and a big deal has been made that Alisaie isn't just here to replace her brother. I know they did it to show off pictomancer, but for me it felt like they didn't understand either of these characters. In the grand scheme of things though trusts aren't really that big of a deal, but with how poorly handled I felt the Scions were this expansion, it was just another little thing that really got to me.

@@ScarletifyGames Yeah, I get you. I feel like since they've dedicated to the Trust system we'll probably see a few more kinda weird role decisions in the future as they need to justify certain characters being around for dungeons/trials. Either that or we keep G'raha on speed dial at all times (which isn't a bad thing but dude's gotta do his paperwork sometime, right?).

@@ScarletifyGames The way I saw it, Alisaie looks up to the WoL as a rolemodel, as does G'raha. G'raha went as far as copying our method of mastering multiple roles so they could fill any job that's needed, so why would it be far fetched to believe Alisaie also wants to try her hand at roles she would otherwise ignore in her friendly competition with us? It'd be like getting mad at a friend who you've been raiding for years with because one day they ask if they can queue as healer for the leveling roulette. Poor Alisaie just wanted to give healing a go and Krile is still in her "combat readiness" arc so of course she's going to be fine with letting someone else take over that responsibility.
But I can see how based on what we know of her from ARR -> Endwalker it's a shock to see Alisaie with the healer tag both from a narative and mechanical standpoint. No one is prepared for the Green Alisaie!
