Thanks. Sometimes I get a bit disheartened if I look at my Subscriber count not going up. Then I read comments from you guys & I feel happy and warm. Then I check to see if I've fouled myself with happiness. Most of the time I haven't. So thanks for the continued support dude.
Great Video as normal Leigh , I’m with you that I won’t be going to ABR next year , just because I want to do other trips and events , thanks for bringing us this series , great to see the Green String boys , ride safe and take care Gents, love you all ❤👌👍👊
Thanks Andy. I should start some sort of game with prizes of which video you watch next 😄. I'm glad your going through them. It's awesome when people do that. I love the fact your commenting. 🤘
@@Nightcrawler666 Now that would be cool as half the time I have no idea. But I will give you a clue. The next video is going to be one that you filmed that is roughly 90 miles away from where I live and I live in Norfolk. Have a guess?????? 👍
Loved this analytical review of the ABR. I had no idea of the numbers of people that go and it has certainly put me off going ! Great ideas for 2024, look forward to seeing more of this. Love you dude
The balcony roads of the Vercours look A Mazing! A buddy of mine rode them last year, I hope Wookiee LOVES heights. Loved the video and with my sensible head on, I thought it gave a very 'real' impression of the festival, which is kinda what you want really, if you are thinking about going, which I'm not. Onward! Here's to the next lot of stuff 'n 'nonsense.
Thanks Neil. The balcony road trip "take Wookiee up the mountain" is Lee's idea @TheLeevtr. He's done it a few times. Wookiee loves heights. It's one of his favourite things. I'm glad you liked the video.
Thanks Leigh Grand Video as Allways it's not Nonesence great content not sure about the automatic Africa twin switches Galore Safe Riding We All Loveeeee youuuuuuu 🤟😈
Another really good video Leigh. Thank you. It all looked so laid back and civilised. I was particularly impressed when Wookee asked permission to give his point of view when it was convenient. 🙂 The only downside was that all that blue sky and sunshine was pretty depressing, I know it’s going to piss it down here tomorrow and every day for the foreseeable future and a bit of blue sky and 🌞🌞would be so nice. 😕 I hope it’s not quite so wet for my camping weekend next month; cold and snowy is one thing, wet and muddy isn’t anywhere near as good. I’m looking forward to the next video as it’s subject will come as a huge surprise. The only thing we do know is it won’t be the ABR Festival Part 4. Take care, don’t work too hard. 👋👋 Edit. I wrote the last paragraph before watching the last couple of minutes where you basically said exactly the same thing.
Thanks David. The weather drives me nuts. Just don't rain. Its either too hot or raining it seems. I love Europe on my bike, but the gear to wear is always an issue for me. I think I made a mistake with my Adventure gear. I'm pretty sure that layers are the answer. I quite fancy a snowy camp off actually. Yea muddy camping would really mess with my noggin. I'm thinking of the Elephant rally at some point, but maybe not with my Lone Rider tent. That looks proper muddy. Not even sure I'd take my GSA. I'd probably buy some old 💩 kicker just for the crack. I won't say what the next video is going to be.
@@Nightcrawler666Last year when it looked as though it might be too muddy I took my DR125. It was great and a lot of people took notice of it amongst the bigger bikes but the ride home was long. When you’re stuck to cruising at about 70kmh even 200km is a long way on a cold December day. 🙂🥶 I’m looking forward to the surprise.
You lot make me laugh, well you and Wookie. Couldn’t agree more what you said about ABR, the organiser Alun has got greedy, he could have foreseen the number of people and arranged more staff but that’s being tight. What Wookie said about VIP was spot on but it ain’t gonna happen as they are greedy. We didn’t go this year and won’t be going next year as we’re off to Normandy for the 80th D-Day commemorations, then a bike trip / honeymoon (as John and I got married a few weeks ago) possibly to Morocco with Toro Adventure in September. Keep up the good work pal, love ya 🫶🏼
I'm not really sure what their thoughts are on how it went. I won't be going again though. Yea Wookiee was spot on. Congratulations on getting Married. Sounds like a cool adventure for you next year. 👍
@@Nightcrawler666 the problem is the more people continue to go they won’t care! What Wookie suggested was not too much but spot on. Awww thank you, can’t wait for 2024 adventures and seeing yours - life is for living 🫶🏼
Once again, great to see your side of the ABR festival! The event for me actually yes, is really big, but at the same time it was a blast. Second year in a row, and all the speaches I attended were really great, amazing oportunity to meet both profesional riders, and awesome creators (not to use the term Influencers, as not everyone likes it), like yourself, and the trails do acomodate all levels of riding, so you can try it out with no issues! That being said, I want to attend some more bike events next year, such as lightweight adv festival, maybe Overland event and some more, well see if my opinion on the ABR will change then! When it comes to Africa Twin though- what you have shown is something I have a real gripe when it comes to the industry in general- the adventure bikes have way too much electronics in them and there is barely any options where you can get an adventure bike without them. Only option is Yamaha Tenere and RE Himalayan all rest of the brands bring more and more riding modes, heated bum, electronic coffe maker or whatever. I wished the Transalp would go the same road to Tenere 700, where itd have only a switchable ABS, keep the price down and therefore being a bit more accesable to new buyers. And why I emphasis the term Adventure bikes in regard to this is, yes there are the CBRs, the KTM 690s etc, but those are dual sports, with bigger tanks, or engines, not purpose built ADV bikes. Nonetheless, great to see you, and hopefully see you again at some point!
Jeeeezus that took me 45 minutes to read 😄. Thanks Adam. Yea I know exactly what you mean. I almost went to a lightweight event, but then realised it wasn't intended for bikes like mine. More of a green lane kinda deal. I'll look into the Overlander thingy. I like the electronics on modern bikes, but I also love old school. Yea definitely hope to meet up again dude. My email link is on here.
Hi Leigh, great series you put together mate, thank you. What a great posse you have. One of your best throw away lines for the series.; It looks fat rolled up, but small when erect, know the problem well lol. Take care mate and have a nice weekend. Love u.
Great video series Leigh and good to relive the laughs with you lot. I see my elaborate departure on the noisy 125 to get fags and cider didn’t make the cut?!🥴😂
I know what you mean about bike rallies turning into just another festival. I was talking to a couple of friends at Stormin the Castle this year, there seemed to be loads of people who looked like that they were there for the music/ beer thing with no interest in motorcycles at all. Maybe that’s how they’re all going now.
I've heard of that, but not been. Yea I guess these things can be shared with anybody & I know we all need to earn money. I just wasn't expecting to see so many people with dogs & dressed up like they were. That to me questioned how they got there.
I had a ticket, but decided not to go. The whole thing was looking like a commercial enterprise. It didn't make sense to have an adv bike and sit in a field all weekend. The trail ride is odd, you pay for a pretty flat ride, when all of the green lanes in the country are free? The blonde one is a strange oddity. I enjoy watching where she is going, but the voiceover is a like a Mills and Boon novel. Lol. Much prefer your wit and humour...and your face during the lecture.
O wow, really? You should of gone & found us & got your camp on with us. I've not been on the trail, but I have seen some videos of it. I would've done it on a WR (other enduro bikes are available). I often say though, it's not so much where you are. It's the company you are in. I think I could be in a field anywhere with the right people & have the best times.
Fabulous as always
Thanks Tim 👍
Great video with good nonsense, best Friday night viewing available. Looking forward to following further adventures.

Sorry. Only just seen this. I don't get notifications for replies. I'll have a look.
