.I think pat won just by getting everyone excited about the chain again, morale was really low when arcane had the chain and his country didn't even back him like that, there was just so much drama and tension in the scene at the time and pat made it fun, entertaining and legitimate again

girls notblue true. The issues following afterwards however is that they relied on Pat too much, to the point of their being some bias towards him in matches.
He stopped it from getting worse but it never fully recovered to how it was when Bender was champ.
For example, many had Dizaster winning despite the stumbles and his 3rd, and felt he got jerked. Drama, as you put it, once again.
Then Charron(which I still feel he won, but Charron’s 3rd round angle was good in idea but was terrible cuz it relied on Hollohan, plus the calling out your homie on stage is weird enough as is), once again, drama(off stage but still). As well as being “punked” by Calicoe.
Finally Daylyt & Illmac. One where Pat seemed off(in material & pacing), and the other where he went somewhere else in his 3rd(and seemingly not caring too much about the match).
Personally I feel Pat shoulda battled Goodz there instead of Calicoe(woulda been possibly less cost & two big personality rappers facing off is way better than Pat tryna be as tough as Cal while also light heartedly joking, I dunno just doesn’t work as well, especially with Cal’s attitude).
Kid Twist is one of the best at breaking down the meta. He should be a regular in these series.

I was pretty critical of Arcane on the most recent watch lol but this feels like his most composed battle and probably best schemes/bars. ❤It’s hard to stand in front of Pats bars . No one will ever do it like Pat did. His work speaks for itself. RIP to the fucking king Pay and respect to Cane 💯🔥

9:23 Pat is so unique. The way his bars are structured and how he makes is jokes to fit in his flow. Lots of battlers can be funny but pat does it differently. And he can quickly become dead serious. There will never ever be another battler to come close to pat stays style. I have never really, i dont want to say emotional, but i have never been this upset over the death of someone that i didnt even know in real life. But the passing of pat really fckd me up. smh. Another issue with Arcane is that he ALWAYS sounds bitter. He's the champ, he should be happy, instead he says shit like "Now I see disloyal snakes in the grass" and talks down on fans. Not marketable, like Pat said.
Mark Hogan Always liked his stuff/battles, but always knew there was a little something that bothered me and couldn't put my finger on it. That's it, it was the constant bitterness. You nailed it.

I've always liked Arcane's material, aside from his battle with Bender (less monster truck announcer). He definitely can rap, but his personality is dog shit on a stinky taint. He definitely beat Diz (or Diz beat himself), but had he not been battling Pat right now I think he could have won - although the material might not have been as good.

Bought bars and won two grand prix. His material certainly didn't age well, but he's kinda from an era where you could win battles by outrapping people, even if your material is worse. (Passwurdz, Arsonal and Cortez did it pretty often)
Arcane's second grand prix run is one of my favorites. Despite the ghost writing controversy.

The big difference between the two, is when pat multi stacks, the scheme fits together and is all cohesive and makes sense to the subject. When diz does it, he adds rhymes just to rhyme. "Cock swallowing novelist" etc.
