Do you know that this EL only had 175 HP for a 350 in 1973 because of anti pollution of the day. Test drive was only 75 - 80 through the 1/4 mile in that day. I hope that I cave you some insight of days past. Love you all, old Man that knows about cars. And I am sure many of you have read my posts.
For me, as a kid in the 70s, I used to see these things and think it was no big deal. To me, it was an open station wagon. Almost 50 years later, in a world of SUVs and pickups, I give a rip when I see a SUV or truck. I check out these guys (and most aren't in such nice shape as this one) now because they're indeed unique and special. Nostalgia fact: Florists and gardening shops always had a couple of these.
Someday I’ll be on the ball and get something I want from you. Love it or hate it body style. I had a 73 Chevelle Malibu. Great little car. Love this El Camino.
I had a 70 El Camino. The body was in decent shape but the bed was not so good. It had a small block Chevy and ran decent. Very handy vehicle to own though.
My dad had one of these it was a 1973 El Camino it was hunter green with white stripes and it was an SS cuz it had the bucket seats that had the lever that if you pushed with turn and the seat would turn sideways so you can get in and out easier
Hell of a deal on this one - wouldn't doubt miles are original. Maybe even the paint. Numbers matching motor still there, and as clean as it is, as good as it drives, could very well be original miles. This car has been well taken care of. This could easily bring $20K+ if put up for auction. One of the nicer cars I've seen on here.
I had a 73 Camaro when I was in highschool in the 80s ,, It had a 307 originally and I put a 327 out of a 65 SS in it with aluminum intake,, Holley 4 barrel and dual exhaust! It was awesome and so is this 73 El Camino the Mullet of the Car World !! Looks n drives Sweet !! Only thing I would put some headers on it since I never put headers on my Camaro I would have to put some on the 73 Mullet !!!
The car my Dad taught me to drive in was a '72 Bonneville in that color with a 455 V8. I loved that car right up to the day I "borrowed" it after school and blew up the engine due to a bent valve Dad didn't tell me about. He didn't think I needed to know as I did not have a driver license yet.
Dang nice car! Tempting. The bumpers in 73 for all cars though....puke. and these Elkes had the tail lights integrated into the bumpers so really hard to get rid of them. Super nice ride though. Rare to find a matching numbers Elke of any year, but especially the 70s cars.
Holy Moses, i saw this chevy back in 1973 brand New when i worked as a mecahnic in a gm factory, man i just loved this camino, thanks Nick great video stay cool Nick
It's probably the best vehicle on the lot .the paint doesn't match on the driver's door so repaint it and you have a really good vehicle the price is exactly where it should be because these are getting harder to find
I love this one nick maple motors have some awesome vehicles I don't know how you keep finding hidden treasures there you go folks awesome car with awesome family
A friend of mine had a 73 elco with 454. Would have been faster with the 350 from the factory. Just at the beginning of the 70s energy crisis. Down tuned everything v8 in them days. I think my 73 mouse with the 351 Cleveland put out 163 hp. 74 the mustang has a 4 cylinder engine. Lol. Today's energy crisis they put LS and hellcat engines into everything. Do like the elco. Always wanted one 👍
When a customer buys a car and finances it. Do they have to pay a separate fee to a shipping company or does the financing add the fee to the total out the door fee?
My old one i had looked just like this except i had no vinyl top or bed rails.I liked the factory air shocks.if ya need to haul something just put some air in shocks,or if your going out,let all air out.I also put a zero miles crate 350 in it.All electric missors, windows and licks. It rides like a caddilac too
Hi Nick, thanks for posting as you know I'm from the UK just a question really, so why did Chevrolet feel the need to produce this classic with the amount & variation on pick ups available in the states & what was this vehicle used for, nice classic but I prefer the Chevelle 2 door salon myself, stay safe & have an amazing Christmas guys and this extends to all you guys living in the Sates.🇬🇧🇺🇸🏴
Yes joseph i know chevys fords dodges they all break down at some point lol i get it but you must be a tesla driver considering how butt hurt you always get over my comments 😂
These rare classics are getting harder to obtain this is an example of a sweet collector beauty.

Good example of a driver that can be cleaned up as you enjoy it. Great deal to be had for someone, should go quickly.
Great looking El Camino at a nice price and one you can take to car shows and cruise in's and fun!!
Use the vice grips from the yellow nova to secure the seatbelt.
I would go get them but it sold lol
had the🏆 73 El Camino and Monte Carlo 🏆 1 year swivel seats very cool car truck 🤔 great price 🍀 get R done 😎✌️

Classic El Camino for a good price!! Thanks for driving over to Bryans Motorsports Nick!!
My dad had one of these it was a 1973 El Camino it was hunter green with white stripes and it was an SS cuz it had the bucket seats that had the lever that if you pushed with turn and the seat would turn sideways so you can get in and out easier
Considering putting my daily driver outside to garage this beauty.

a turbo 350 transmission. in 1975 i bought a 73 Chevelle from my dad who was a car salesman!
I would just nurse it, as it is and keep it indoors! Really nice classic 🙏👍😎
Thats a great car! Really clean too, you aren't gonna find classic ride that nice for that kind of money these days.
The color combination on that 73 ElCamino says spring is coming back rally wheels my eyes blink
I like that year Elco very nice ride
Haven't seen that Greengold #46 color in a long time! Popular 1973 color was probably repainted a different color by some restorers. Rare find!

Love that green! My good friend in high-school had a 72 monty 454 with that color...
I agree, the green looks good!
Nice classic, sweet condition for the age...👍
Love the style and that green paint is crazy.

I had this yr el camino and looked just like this.I loved it and shoulda kept it
I had a 73 SS 454 El Camino in 2001. El Camino is the best.
I'm waiting for a settlement check. If I get it before this is sold. I will own it.
Holy Moses, i saw this chevy back in 1973 brand New when i worked as a mecahnic in a gm factory, man i just loved this camino, thanks Nick great video stay cool Nick
Wow, they are getting hard to find. Love to gave one.

I've been subbed to this channel for what feels like forever!! Y'all are awesome! I'll never be able to afford any vehicle from y'all. But damn!!

@@russelltackett4779 i love this channel but I live in fla.hot
Lots of little paint things and shows battle scars of everyday use. It's a 50 year old car so this is expected.
PS brand New back 1973 price so cheap 3000 dollars 💵
Oh yes its a chevy
So what
They all breakdown
Yes joseph i know chevys fords dodges they all break down at some point lol i get it but you must be a tesla driver considering how butt hurt you always get over my comments 😂

7 seconds in. Take those rails off of this car.
Front fender sticks out like a sore thumb. Don’t like it and I have owned several of them later generation.
OMG
A DISTINGUISH JEWL!
