    Great tutorial! I am thinking of doing this for my wedding invitations but I am a complete novice and have never done this before! I think I'll used the baking paper, such a handy tip. I already have 4 wax sticks but they have a wick on the end, no doubt i'll need more. Do you know roughly how many invitations one wax stick will do?

  • @PUNISHERMHS_2021
    @PUNISHERMHS_2021 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm struggling way too much, either I'm not using enough wax, or too much. I also either seem to apply too much pressure or not enough. I either hold the seal too long on the wax and I can't remove it without ripping something, or I don't hold it enough and it gets really messy.

      6-8 depending on the coin size. If you are making them ahead of time you can remelt the mistakes and save on errors.

    • @EternalStationeryMelbourne

      Depends on your wax coin size. If you are using wax that has a wick inside it, you would need to experiment by counting the drops until you get enough for the coin.

      That seems to also be unsafe. You’d be next to the stove for hours and I’m sure it would get extremely messy and uncomfortable. There is a product called a wax melting pot that works like a stove would, allowing you to keep a fair bit of wax warm at any one time instead of melting a spoonful individually if that helps.
