Thank you for the video. Great content, as usual. I am curious why you do not default the results to ALV grid. At very least, it makes it easier to copy the data in individual cells.
Thank you. Of course I use SE16N or SE16H to display data in tables. But the intention of this video is to give you a solution for having secure access to a specific table without granting access to SE16, SE16N or SE16H in general where you can basically display every data in the SAP system. This is a huge risk to companies. I don't use the SE16. Because of that the default settings are being used. Of course you can change the output list within Settings > User Parameters... > "ALV Grid Display". In SE16N or SE16H the ALV Grid is being used by default.
This is the only source that explain this basic and essential thing !!! Many thanks
Thank you so much for your amazing support. I appreciate it.
Helpful trick. Now I can propose this solution to SAP Basis if I don't get access to SM30 or SE16N 😀
Good to hear 😀

Secure Access to SM30 and SE16
hi ,with abap program se38 i want to download excel sheet with xlsx.format. its possible and how
Sure, just look at videos on my channel.
Example:
ABAP2XLSX - SAP Data to Excel within ABAP

SM30 is granted to anyone in a production scenario, regardless if they are admin of not. Thats what FF is for.
If you want to provide access to a specific table for SM30 or SE16 this trick is useful.
