@@Bookishtravels1 Thanks, Julie! Well, not all of them - at least not yet! ☺️ But I've really been enjoying them, and I do intend to read them all over the next few months. 😁
Ah, I also really enjoy the poetics of place, informed by ecocriticism & postcolonialism. The current philosophy & theology around death & bereavement is astounding. John Bowker is probably my favourite thinker in this domain.
@@apoetreadstowrite I've enjoyed nature and nature poetry for as long as I can remember. Nature truly nurtures my soul. Over the last decade, I've also started exploring the importance and meanings of place - to individuals, yes, but also to cultures as a whole. However, I must admit, I have absolutely no interest in theology. 😊
@@WildHeartsandWildflowers: I love theology & philosophy, but have no intuitive sense for the supernatural anymore. My 'sense' of God would be pantheism, I guess: Nature is God & God is Nature.
So... do *you* think we'll ever discover life somewhere out in the universe?
What NonFiction books have you been reading lately? 📚📚📚
No, but I'm not sensitive, I wish I were. I suspect that life really is this exceptional...
@apoetreadstowrite Part of me agrees with you, but a bigger part realizes how small we are and how little we know. 😊
@@WildHeartsandWildflowers: Certainly, I'm sure you are right.
@@apoetreadstowrite Well, I'm not sure, but I certainly can hope. ☺️
@@WildHeartsandWildflowers: I have just loaded a video on Gothic literature that raises some of these issues, well from my hurt perspective anyway.
Well done for getting around to all your books, you ave been reading some heavy hitters too!
