I think there is a shortage of good multi platform AAA games in general. But also Xbox just bought up a bunch of studios so I'm sure alot more are in the future 😁

Most times when I swing it says very late or late or very early or early. The throws feel slower than last year but it's harder for me to time my swings. So at what point after the ball is thrown should I swing at the ball for a perfect or close to perfect hit?
He can’t tell you. Same way you got good at 2k and apex you just got to play. Different pitch times and pitchers . Go to custom practice and work on pitches and areas that give you problems

Then I started inserting players I didn’t even recognize by name though their stats looked OK. Success with new players happened and new favorites developed. Take a couple years ago when Niko Goodrum came into MLB The Show as an example. His stats were OK at release but his Swing… so good. Aldalberto Mondesí, Jose Ramirez, Yasmani Grandal, Devers and so on. These guys have respected swings among the community. Learn if you are good with pull, push and balanced hitters. View points. Try “Strike Zone”, most people have success with that POV hitting. Leg kick or toe taps. Some people love Mike Trout and Chipper Jones, some don’t. Same have issues with Luis Urías because of the huge leg kick he has. Best way to avoid this mental mistake is stare at the pitcher like in real life. Watch the glove at wind up, watch the pitch be released and track it with the PCI. Better you get at this, timing while swinging will come. You gotta feel it. If you ever played baseball in real life you’ll know timing is all hand eye muscle memory / coordination. Same in this game. Watch, and react. Timing will come. Good luck!
PS, picking up tendencies of computers and opponents matters. Having baseball knowledge helps A LOT. Know counts. Pay attention to what pitches are being used in what counts against left and right batters. Don’t always keyhole pitches though it’s usually safe to sit fastball, get that shit timed up, take it away from your opponent and wait for those hanging sliders, curves and changeups. Patience is a virtue. I try and keep my opponents pitch count in mind. Walks are good. Try and get a base on balls 1-3 times per game. Long story short: play baseball. If you treat it like baseball, apply situational small ball, practice stealing, have good platoon bench bats and this year keep in mind clutch. Having a guy like Joc Pederson on your bench is huge.

Yes, the guy I play co op with has ps4. The update times are def slower on his, and the graphics are much better on the ps5 imo. I also like the ps5 controllers more. I play on a 4K tv which helps the clarity

Ok I bought mlb 22 for ps5 at Christmas for 20 bucks and the last show I own is mlb 14 for ps4. That's how long you need to wait for it to seem a little bit better. Lolol

When there is no competition there is no reason to have motivation. Same thing with EA sports. Hockey has downgraded since 2011, madden has been worthless since idk when. 2K is kinda good but has the worst online lag ever so it's all offline play. Fifa is probably the best sport franchise video game and I don't even like soccer lol

Go into diamond dynasty then click customize. I did it right from the start when they had me clicking through a bunch of tutorials
