I thought you were going to say “Have I told you guys lately, that I love you, instead of pockets.” I had to giggle. What a cute folio from envelopes. 🥰
Thanks for sharing. I love that this beautiful creation ! I love that is started as true “ junk”. The ugly duckling into the swan…I love when that happens.
Fabulous folio Miss E, just love your creativity and love how you share with us all your amazing talent. I can’t wait to see your tutorials each day and feel blessed with all you’ve had to put up with, you continue to share your time. Such a unique lady and beautiful family. Karen from UK xx
I really hope they are making good progress on your home. You always have awesome ideas to use up envelopes and make something beautiful for journals. ❤️
Beautiful E! I have just the envelopes to use too! TYFS your fabulous ideas! You know I love your videos. The instructions are easy to follow for which I am very grateful!
Really neat concept! I was looking at a big envelope yesterday. One of those really big ones like 11x9 or something. W windows. I have put some away but beats me what to do with THOSE! This size envelope I think I have … hopefully I have “enough”! I get daily supply of craft materials in my mailbox - ha ha. Junk mail. I think I e said that before. 😮 oh well ❤thanks
You sure gave my a few laughs Mrs. E. I'm sorry I've been very busy and haven't gotten to watch my videos lately. But I love those pretty papers "My Vintage Lady" and the folio is looking awesome 😍
I made a journal that I had tea dyed and burnt the edges. I did it over the sink so no accidents. It was so cool. It was in the days before they had the ink to go around the edges.😊 I also crinkled some of the pages to give it a different texture.
I love using envelopes. This is a fun folio. Have you ever though about turning some upside down? I do sometimes when the window isn’t where I may want it.
Love this different folio Edith. Looks so much better when someone else makes it. But I think I may give one a go as I do have some of those envelopes to use up. Can't wait to see the house update. Be well, be safe & TYFS
I really enjoy watching you work and I'm finding this one fascinating I've never seen anybody do anything like this with envelopes but I have one I want to send to you that I've been doing with envelopes
melina took a picture and showed us their dog layla while they were at RV Park in Michigan the other day love your work(melina was ready for her own bed and craft room then )
“Does anybody know why I cut that there??” 😂. You make me laugh out loud E! I love the idea for the folio too. Looking lovely so far. I’m looking forward to the continuation and also the house update.
Video wasn’t here… but now it is! Yay! Thanks for this. Always looking for ideas to use my 12 x 12’s, and junk envelopes, too. 👍 Hope you’re having a good weekend E!
I love this so far and am looking forward for the finish! I’ve seen a few people comment no video but it’s been fine for me. Your allergies in my prayers. Thanks Mrs E 💕
I love the Victorian era, could you show us anything of that time period to make? And also, wondering if you could show us how to make one of those paper fans of that time period, also? Love learning from your videos. Thank you so much!
Hello Edith. I'm enjoying discovering your videos and attempting to create some of your projects. Is there a follow-up video to this one (New Accordion Folio Journal - Made From Junk Mail & 12 x 12 Paper)? I'd love to see how you finish the journal. Thanks for all you contribute to the wonderful world of paper crafting.
This is so fun. You mentioned you could just use scrapbook paper if you don't have envelops that size. How will it have pockets? Do we double up the paper?
Wow, I loved your journal! I appreciate that you gave such great instructions on how to make this. I was able to follow your directions perfectly! Thank you for making this video. I just became a subscriber to your channel. I will definitely explore your websites. Do you have a physical store or is it just an online store? I have been to Maymay's store. I visit AL frequently. My sweet mother-in-law lives in the Huntsville area. Thanks again for this video.
This is going to be really nice. Can a material like muslin be used for the binding? I don't know much about these things and if ya don't ask you don't learn. I am to chicken to try on my own first as it is possible to be done and I just don't do it correctly!!
Just wondering why you would be afraid to try? I have to remind myself it’s just paper and a little bit of cloth. Often time I have started a project and didn’t like how it was going together. I’d put it aside for a while. Sometimes I’d come back to it and be able to figure out how to fix it. Other times I just took it apart and used the pieces. Sometimes it went in the trash can. It’s still just paper
Hello Miss E, I have a request for you. I'm trying to make a journal for my sister's. And I'm try to use their favorite colors & I'm having a bit of trouble. One sister likes black, white, off white & gray, my other sister likes all purple. And I'm having trouble trying to come up with ideas for those colors. All my other journals are combinations of all kinds of things & colors. These two is turning out to be very hard. Can you help with ephemera or other ideas I could put to use?
Is there a reason you couldn't glue the short sides on the backs of the envelopes where it would cover the windows partially? Also, could you make some of those shorter parts into side pockets on the page?
This is so fun. You mentioned you could just use scrapbook paper if you don't have envelops that size. How will it have pockets? Do we double up the paper?
Yes just put two pieces of paper back to back and glue around the edges. Then make your fold and you have exactly what I have. And it is already covered with paper.
I thought you were going to say “Have I told you guys lately, that I love you, instead of pockets.” I had to giggle. What a cute folio from envelopes. 🥰

Hi, E, love to listen to you chat & sometimes I get so tickled at you! Those are so cute! TFS! Hugs!🥰

I remember burning edges to get the old weathered look. We’ve come a long way in the crafting world.
Great idea and yes I have done that many times too. I think that is why I love the inking so much.
This is great!! I needed some fresh folio ideas, tfs ❤️
Like this idea. Might add a covered cereal box for " a cover" so I can add ties to be able to open one side then the other. As if it's 2 books
Great idea!

Greenwich is usually pronounced Gren-itch.
Video is not there 🤷♀️
This is a sad thing.
