As part of my purchase, I threw in a case from ESR, and a Logitech Crayon to compliment my purchase. So far so good on my iPad. The Logitech Crayon works perfectly with it as well.

I got a Magflott stand last year and it was great for a few months and then it fell apart - great concept but poor quality materials. Stand is not bad but the upper is flimsy and when adjusting, it cracked. £140 down the drain.
Hi Patrick, can you kindly tell me if this stand is high enough, to position the 12.9 iPad Pro above a 14 MBP, to use sidecar vertically? That would seal it for me. The ultimate compact desk setup, with dual XDR displays!

Have to say I’m totally sold on this Patrick. I can see a multitude of uses around the home beside the home office set up. For example I tend to watch a movie on my iPad when in the kitchen cooking, this stand would be ideal. Yep I definitely need one, so I e pre ordered.

One question I had was since the stand seems to adjust via screw I guess it would be dangerous to adjust while the iPad is on it. There isn’t a tension spring there to make sure it doesn’t slam down when loosening? I like the idea of the vesa bracket. I feel if there was some sort of system like you have in a monitor arm that has a hydraulic component it would be well worth a premium price.
There’s an idea. But I guarantee the minute you try to mutilate it, there will be something that will make it impossible, I wonder if we can just use standard pushpins with the correct voltage

I just got v2 version and the build quality is absolutely amazing. Definitely feels like an Apple product. I opted for v2 cuz I want to keep setup more simple and clean, but there are times I wish I can adjust the height as well. Do you prefer v2 or the pro version? And does it make any sense to get both? 😂
Hey is the material of the middle part still rough and abrasive on the new model compared to old one? I found the old mag float stand middle part rough and abrasive compared to what the iPad back feels like when sliding fingers I also found the edges not rounded and quite sharp and pointy which also digs into skin when holding it or moving it that way I would like the material to feel smoother and less edgy/pointy

The mechanical one on my main desk? It's the MX keys mini (for Mac) by Logitech. Lovely compromise between an Apple keyboard and a mechanical one.

Hi Patrick. This seems like a good stand, however my only problem is that i wouldn't be able to keep it in my case whilst it's on the stand.

why do none of these leverage the connection pins which allow charging passthrough on the apple keyboard case?
