- William Afton is one of my most favorite fictional villians because of his character and his overall famous designs, but i have noticed that the character has suffered poorly to modern writing, so i wanted to compare the different official versions of the character 💛👍

I will always love William's new-ish connections to theatrics; Springbonnie being a classic silent slasher persona meanwhile Springtrap is one far more boastful and aggressive, meanwhile Scraptrap is where Springtrap and Afton breakdown into one persona, a strange amalgamation of self-grandure and theatrics
Then it’s ramped up to 11 with the theatrics with Glitchtrap.

I like the William Afton because they gave him a story. I’ve never liked the evil just to be evil fleshy, because it’s not realistic. Killers are usually people who lost everything. William last his daughter to his own creation, and his oldest son killed his youngest and after this he wants everyone to feel what he felt taking his grief and pain onto others, something a real killer would do. Fnaf 1-5 are my favorite version of the character and story.

You know, William is an interesting killer, but I don't know why scott never show him like a scary killer, I really want William to be in the games and be a real threat, but i can say in the books he really is a threat, but also in the books he was kinda weak.
and we only have William in minigames and he only appears in real world only in fnaf 3 and 6 and ucn which in ucn he is just being traped and gets suffer by souls, I want him to really play the role of a killer that you have to run from and hide, even fight him so you can survive from him not just sitting in a office and check him with cameras.
I agree, I really want William to be taken seriously because child murder is a very serious subject

Here’s the thing, I didn’t dislike that they gave William Afton his name, it just mad the a never ending series of books! And it’s not just William Afton, it’s also the mimic. We literally have an entire series with epilogue stories about the mimic and then somehow he just randomly shows up in RUIN to red con Burntrap cause after the initial hype of the Afton ending no one liked him. Steel wool isn’t taking criticism, they are just acting like it doesn’t exist! Also don’t even get me started on the whole Andrew and Cassidy situation, we wouldn’t know either of those characters if it wasn’t for the gosh dang books! We just need solid GAME LORE and steel wool needs to start actually caring because they literally said they have “TH-camr bait” for theories. THAT IS SOME HELLO NEIGHBOR TYPE CRAP!

The fact that the before and after comparison was Fnaf VHS and Fnaf movie just proves my point that: Fnaf fans became so obsessed with these stupid VHS videos that they created a false reality where they think Fnaf has the best and most professional horror ever, which makes them disappointed when they see thinks like Security Breach or the Fnaf movie
I mean William Afton in the book series is just as insane as the one in the games.
Edit: I was expecting a “But WAIT THERES MORE” and proceeds to show a picture of the Tumblr version of spring trap while you’re slowly losing the last bit of sanity you have
God I miss when the books weren't necessary to understand the games...

offtopic but what happened with the dormitabis remastered devs? because i heard they got into dramas or something like that
Basically if I remember correctly the owner turned out to be racist and because of that the rest of the team sorta just removed him
They also removed Dormitabis Remastered's cannonicity from the rest of the games they're planning to make and are gonna make a v2 of Dormitabis Remastered with brand new everything (aka Dormitories Remastered Remastered basically)

I loved William Afton’s portrayal as a villain, I don’t think he was ruined… I think the mimic ruined the series, at this point I’m just interpreting it how I want
Child murder is one of the most evil and vile things a person can do and William Afton being pure evil was the right move (also why I believe he was an abusive father who didn’t care about his kids, I don’t WANT to sympathize with this monster)heck even William being a restaurant owner makes sense, what’s the perfect place to lure in his victims? I will agree the sci fi stuff wasn’t great but it just adds to the torture he puts these kids through and makes him more evil in my opinion
I will also admit, he wasn’t always used the best, if burntrap is William more could’ve been done with him, but at least it was a cool design, while scraptrap was well executed but a lousy final form. Heck even his portrayal in fazbear frights while not the most intimidating, being overshadowed by Eleanor, was just straight up cool
Yeah, I also agreed that the mimic ruins everything it did not fix anything. It didn’t make stuff better. It just made the lore more confusing and made stuff feel more forced.

No, the games in Help Wanted are supposed to be a sort of 'cover up'. They were, in the words of Tape Girl, "designed to conceal and make light of what happened". Fazbear Entertainment trying to discredit the past by poking fun at themselves in the form of a in universe VR experience.

The mimic is not the best. In fact. I think it’s a down grade. He’s not scary and theories about it is literally saying green eyes for Charlie and BLUE eyes for elzabith! Even tho it’s not she’s not even with blue eyes! And why??? Mimic being two characters in one body. But tiger head in tree oh but wait! Hes a combination of afton. Charlie. Baby. Henry and…. You see why I don’t like him. If you do like him. That’s ok. I just think he’s not the best.
