Illusi on Suria in 2000

I found an old CD from the early 2000s containing an old Eid special that used to air on the Singaporean Mediacorp Malay channel, Suria. Apparently, one of the shooting venues was at a house I used to live in. I was 4 years old and vividly remembered being present during one of the scenes (specifically the miscarriage scene) during the time of filming. How did the production team decided on my previous home as one of the sets? Well, a little backstory. The actor who plays Rizal in the show, were friends with my parents and chose our house to film in!
The plot revolves around 4 main characters and 2 secondary characters. Rizal, his brother Zul, his wife, Yani and his mother, who had recently experienced the loss of their father. Their mother receives CPF inheritance from their late father and she gifted Yani, her daughter-in-law (DIL), a gold bangle. Yani, one of the antagonist of the show, passive aggressively expresses her distaste and ungratefulness toward her mother-in-law (MIL) and her gift to Rizal, claiming that she was stingy with the inheritance by only getting her a lightweight gold bangle. Her true agenda would only reveal once she met with her friend Suzannah who unknowingly teams up with Kamal to scam the couple.
