The staircase is not a waste if you have insane luck, every pair of stairs you climb you get a 1 in a million chance of reaching the end, which takes about 5 seconds to climb 1 pair of stairs so the average person would need to climb for 57 days. Its a waste if your normal, but its not if you have the best luck.
tip for stairway to heaven : the huge angel dog have a 0.01 percent to spawn wand ladders keep spawning every time ur near and every 5 secs so it is possible
