Thanks man, I’m 18 and have been told so much about investing while I’m young but had no idea where to start. I’ve watched your entire red dead two playthrough and appreciate you for doing this!

Completely different kind of video but one I think is extremely important, especially for the younger generation who has the “time value of money” on their side. Thanks Shinies!

I think this is awesome content. Lately I have been wondering what is better, dividend or growth portfolios. Any thoughts?

My question is why more people don’t do this if it’s so easy. Is it just the perception that it’s more complicated?

That's part of it I'm sure. There's also they simply might not know about this, are buried in debt, try riskier things to get rich quick, aren't disciplined, have no money to spare. Take your pick really.

Investing does have a chance of losing money. He's saying you could earn a million in 40 years if you invest 150k, no matter the small the chance is of losing it. People don't like the idea of losing money.
That and you could be dead tomorrow. This is all assuming you'll be fine in 40 years

The chance of you losing money in the S&P500 is basically non-existent unless you are doing it short term. Your money is also always accessible unless you use a retirement account. I might be dead tomorrow so I should throw away my ability to be financially secure and have a retirement is a bad argument imo and this is coming from someone who had cancer not that long ago.

Really great video. Screwed up that most people are never taught anything about this. Cheers Lassor.

Im glad to see youre putting this kind of video out there. Lotta folks never bother investing, and something like this could help a lot. One thing , though ; Staking crypto is a higher return on a lower initial push, long as youre familiar with ASCII hardened crypto
