I always looked at scottie pippin as a second Jordan when I was kid. One time Jordan went out the game and pippen was playing like Jordan.
If not for a BS call against the Knicks, Pippen likely leads the Jordan-less Bulls, back to the Finals against the Rockets. I don't think they beat the Rockets, because the Bulls always had trouble with Olajuwon. But he does get them there and history would be altered forever.
I enjoyed these 2 working together more than Skip and Shannon, mainly because Skip discussed a wider range of topics on First Take than he did on the Undisputed. With the Undisputed he controlled the agenda, and kept choosing rinse and repeat Cowboys, Brady and Lebron topics. As entertaining as he and Shannon were, the lack of variety of topics took away a lot of the fun IMO.
First take was at its best when it was Skip and Stephen A. I loved watching the next day analysis of the 2016 playoffs
