God sent almost 124000 Prophets and Messengers to Humanity, different time, different places, on different Nations.
Being Muslim, I also consider Holy Siddhartha Gautama as one of the great Prophet of our Creator, The God Almighty sent to a particular Region ( Though his name is not mentioned in Last and Final Book from our Creator, since there are more then 124000 Prophets and Messengers ).
