as someone who playes on beginner settings i often do not find these things an issue really, it might be my lack of using wumpy or the fact that my hand placement is weird but i do not find an issue with this as i use a pinky on control, ring on shift, middle on W, and pointer on D, and thumb on space, if you think about it there is very few times you will need to break a fall and immediately use the dash keybind. although this is just my opinion i do not think it is fair to make an overall statement that beginner is something that you should "never do" as i use these keybinds and settings and play quite well.
As someone with tacuer and having played Legacy as well, Dash as ctrl somehow feel very comfortable. It might be because my scroll wheel is stiff, but it's kinda comfortable.
I actually prefer auto parkour as it is just a smoother experience, the only thing that makes it being off better is that you can prevent wall runs accidentally when doing certain movements, and i mean VERY certain im level 86 in the game and ive only turned off auto parkour for vestibule, for the old plat route, which we dont even use anymore, ive never had any issues with it besides that
Nightplay I got 85 hrs on the game all with auto parkour and when I turn it off I’m really bad, I cant wall boost or wumpy. Do you suggest I keep going without it and try relearn?
I've personally been playing since Legacy but still chose Casual, I haven't had much issue with it and I can basically do anything everyone else can do flawlessly.
There is no Difference which is bad or not, its just to what u are used to, i use casual and its great for me i use my thumb for space, ring finger for shift, and pinky for ctrl, and i can play good. its just what u are used to there is literally no differences. all other things nightplay mentioned is correct, have auto parkour off, auto clutch off, etc. i agree with that but there is no differnece between casual and traceur keybinds if u chose casual and stayed with it , u are used to it, same goes to traceur.

the second point doesnt really make much sense for a casual player, wumpies and other tech arent exactly a casual thing tbh
