why didn't the field size change? when my teacher was doing it, she made us change the field size or is it not important.
Good question. It is not a compulsory thing to change the field size. I guess she instructed you to change the field size so that you may know how to do it. And again, I'm some cases. Where we want to increase the degree of accuracy of data input, we can change field size, input mask, text validation among others. However, since this video is meant to guide us in basic skills, that's why I ommited them, within the channel, we have more than 20 similar videos addressing different database concepts. Please go through them and you'll be a pro in databases. Thank you

Excuse me Sir but I unfortunately cannot enter my data in the transaction table since they are saying that a related record is required in customers table
That means you are supposed to feed data to the CUSTOMERS TABLE before feeding it to TRANSACTION TABLE.
You should always feed data in the mother table before feeding it to the child table.

Possible reasons
1. You might entered some customer id which does not exist in customer table. To solve, go back to customer table and confirm if the id in transaction matches.
2. You might have entered some product id which does not match with a product id from products table

Usually advisable to set primary key before data capture. However, if you have already captured data, it won't be wise to erase it. Rather, ensure that the primary field has no duplicates and then set primary key
