It really does but people hate this kind of stuff also I work with a bunch of indians from tribal villages yeah this stuff goes right over thier heds they don't even know what Opera is even. The idea of Rock Opera is just insane they can't compute at all I get it alot with younger Canadians as well. PLus the Rock music today is just metal whats up with that.

The quality of music coming out of northern European bands, especially the metal genres puts America's entire music industry with perhaps the exception of some of the blues, to shame! Epica's Omega Alive album is amazing. Sabaton's just released Christmas Truce is phenomenal. My only disappointment in the music has been Marco's departure from Nightwish. While Floor is a goddess, Marco was definitely a big part of that band. Wish American's would wake up and discover this music ...

I did not expect that Epica would release this as a standalone video before the release of the DVD/Blue-ray version, and so I'm the more excited they do. I was always kind of sad that there was no good live version of KOH 1 and no video for KOH 3 at all. At least, for KOH 3, people will now be spoiled. As an Epica fan, I did of course see the Omega Alive show with KOH 1 & KOH 3. However now it will be opened to a wider public.
Epica always made their stuff free to the public with the option to buy. Buying the DVD doesn't mean it shouldn't be public, it only means that you support them. And not every fan can pay 32€ for a dvd =) I started listening to epica when I was 15, couldn't even afford a phone back then, and I'm glad they published free live music videos that made me fall in love with them. However I highly encourage people to buy it if they can! lml

This is pure gold! I still dream of the day they'll play all three parts in a row.
This is 100% my vibes, colors, effects, and intelligence of style of orchestra, rock, and choir! Love it so much! I didn’t realize that Simone performs a lot like Amy Lee with her dress style and body movements on stage. I won’t lie, I felt so much emotion and teared up when I saw the two guys performing in unity together with the guitar and keyboard because they featured each other and I felt the love as brothers in metal for what they each share and possess. I felt their love and unity for each other. The whole band functions as a team. It’s amazing and all beautiful! Probably my top favorite song of theirs.
They are very chummy and have been together about 20 years. A rarity in any band, especially metal bands. No controversy between members.
She sounds nothing like amy lee... amy lee isn't bad or anything but she has a poppy voice, that aint this. This is so much better it's unreal.
This woman is just an incredible singer. This is just a great album, there isn't one song I don't like and every time I listen I just marvel at how good she is. This particular song is great, I just love the key changes.

@@elpeluca7780 Huh?... Suffocation are a cultural icon from the fringes of Death, sure... but Epica is at the cutting edge of Prog... From a production, composition, technical innovation and performance perspective, they're playing in different leagues.
And more to the point, if we're going to cement progressive music with the worlds of dramatic performance arts (something I've been spending a lot of time working on) we have to look for the artists who present the most sophisticated expression of the art form. And in my honest opinion, Epica is where it's at right now.

Damn, this was an absolute belter of a LIVE performance. The sheer musicianship displayed here is incredible considering this song's difficulty. And the BTS crew did an amazing job at creating this experience for us to enjoy. I've been a fan since Epica's inception and I am glad they're just as strong as ever. Need to see them live at some point that's for sure.

es así, yo los conozco desde el primer CD The Phantom Agony y solo despues de el disco The Divine conspiracy empecé a seguirlos mas de cerca, recien con Requiem For The indifferent me terminé de hacer fanatico y luego con The Quantum Enigma me terminaron de volar la cabeza....para mi Quantum Enigma es el mejor album de la banda, pero me gustan todos en general.

Delightful AND BEYOND PERFECTIONISM. The quality and essence of any band itself it’s depicted on their live shows. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm of (extremely) atheist upbringing and google isn't being very helpful. What exactly does "May thy kingdom come" mean?
I understand that "kingdom come" is heaven/death/the end; I've heard "X will Y until kingdom come" often enough. But that definition doesn't really make sense to me in context of this phrase, unless it's saying "May you die". Which is pretty comforting to some people I guess, but something tells me I'm misinterpreting the phrase.
This is probably really common knowledge and I'm making myself look like a total dunce by asking, but I've been wondering for years lol. I wasn't kidding when I said my upbringing was extremely atheist.
@@theredlioness2502 In my opinion, they mention this theme about Gods that many people of past or present times believes. The light they refer is the knowledge above the sky or above the our knowledge (Jesus Christ to me, or other Gods for other people in the world).
