I put a few bikes of my collection for sale. Indifferent if any sell. Stock. Never been down. Runs perfectly. Great saver on gas. Fast - reported to go 0-60mph in 3.3 seconds which is on par of a 105hp 600cc RR motorcycle. Range 95-146 miles depending on driving style.
This is part of the first 500 created and cost $30000 new. The newer ones are under Livewire, not Harley and have some differences. This has a collector certificate called "First Strike" meaning the first 500 produced

There is a cheap mod for the brake to give a " handbrake " effectively locks the brakes with a switch.
The other option would be a rubber band on brake lever or a lock ..

Rubber band, good one. I can keep it in the seat. I dont really want to sell and will pull the ad eventually. I want to make a lot of videos with it, just no time

The first nissan leafs are increasing in price and they are pretty crap interns of range and fun factor and also gave some issues with rust around the suspension, I can imagine the FIRST harly electric bike would have a lot of appeal going forward, yes battery might crap out at some point but batteries can be replaced.
@@FlyingFun. I think you are correct hence any of the first 500 or first strikes will be worth the most. however if you invest that $20K in real estate or gold, would it be worth more 20 years later vice the Harley?

But I think the bike would be more fun and thats the reason to invest in bikes , not make money but hopefully not to lose too much, I would only get a bike that I could happily ride without worrying about hurting my investment ..
I considered classic bikes before but didn't fancy the faf of dry storing them in the winter and recommissioning them for the summer, an electric just needs the battery to be charged to 50% or so and that's about it.
@@FlyingFun. good point. there is hardly any mainteance on this bike. with gas bikes the fuel goes bad and fuel pumps go bad. electric is def easier to keep long term without having to do much. i will probably keep this
