Of those, 93% are white whilst just 1.3% are Black. This is in comparison to white people making up 84.8% of residents, while 3.6% of the population is Black meaning the workforce is much less diverse than the actual population. Christopher Alder - Black former British Paratrooper, arrested for breach of the peace and taken to a Police custody suite - CCTV footage shows Chris lying face down on the floor, trousers around his ankles whilst officers stand around him laughing whilst he is dying for over 10 minutes. I could go on but as a white man living in the UK who has not experienced being stop and searched or being pulled over in my car by the Police. Who has an appreciation and respect for the Police force generally in their expected role within society I can still see there is a deep seated problem here.
