That was just a sensational cover from start to finish, Neil. What a lovely song from Morrisey and man... that freaking tone!!! And it's a CLEAN TONE?!?!?! It sounds so crisp and punchy. Absolutely fantastic stuff, man. I loved this so much!!! ❤🎸
Thanks so much Dani! Had great fun learning and playing this one. Such a joy if a bass line. Next song is Bigmouth Strkes Again by the Smiths. Andy Rourke classic!
Cheers Niall! Thanks for listening and kind comment. I’m quite happy with these strings. The only criticism I have is they are a bit on the tight side when playing with fingers.
Yet another banger of a track, Neil! Sounds great! I'm listening through my recording rig as I'm doing some Sunday practice & the bass sounds so thick on this!
Thanks Amanda. I just worked this out yesterday and had a free day today so decided to give it a bash recording it as I found a version with the bass removed. No count in at the start so it’s a bit off time but enjoyed playing the bass line on this one. Have American pro ii pick ups installed which seem quite full sounding.
Nice song choice Neil!! That P bass is sounding so good! What at tone and I love how it sounds with the pick. What a melodic and grooving bass line. Played perfectly! Great job on this one! Thanks for sharing.
@@thomasfioriglio thanks mate. Love the bassline in this song. As soon as I heard it, I wanted to play it. I haven’t heard a Morrissey song with a basic bass line. Always melodic and challenging!
@@neilmorrow9756 I would think a melodic bass line would have to be part of Morrisey's music. Andy Rourke was a phenomenal bassist and a key part of The Smiths' sound. I haven't followed Morrisey's solo career closely, but everything I have heard sounds like a continuation of The Smiths.
Excelente!! Como sempre, perfeito!
Thank you so much Eduardo 👍
Great job, as always! I really enjoy the content on your channel. 👍 You have great taste in material to cover!
Greetings from Kentucky in the US!

Ok. Heard it with my earphones. Sounds great bass master. Cool playing.
Thanks Ed 👍

Great Job, Neil! That Japanese P-bass sounds AWESOME!
Thanks Dan! Hope you’re keeping well mate. ❤️
This is so good. What a melodic groove. This sounds absolutely ACE. That tone is out of this world and your relaxed playing is so impressive

Another one of my favorite Morrissey tracks, excellent cover Neil 👍
Thanks Geordie what. Great bass line in this one!
@@neilmorrow9756 It certainly does! I also like Tomorrow which also has a good bassline too.
