Tip: when doing HUT moments, pause the game the moment you complete your objective. You can exit and claim the reward without having to get a whistle.
Or u can just wait till next whistle and it’ll ask if you want to leave with rewards…

I honestly feel like playing the ai on rookie is way harder overall (not just goalies)
It is. I was paying attention while doing moments. The only thing that changes between difficulties is the effect of ai hits on players and ability to stick on the player while moving. Everything else is uniform
Every year it starts out with the sliders in a good fashion..... then the cry babies whine then they patch sliders then the game goes to shit
@@brandonthomas7412 it has been like this for a couple of years tbh. Sliding Those sliders or not
I'm enjoying the game but either rewards need to be way, way better at full release or costs need to be way, way lower, or this game will be dead after a month. I spend money and the reward to cost ratio is even ass to me.
HUGE TIP for moments: Any position lock moment you can tun off before starting the game. Simply click the right analog stick in the ready screen and hit clear position lock! (Not sure if anyone has said this yet)
I actually found the position lock to be easier. You can just wait til your team gets possession then call for the puck and skate around everyone easily and score
Had to figure this out myself to get through and make life easier. Absolute must-know tip!
I like the game so far! But damn, please fix pass accuracy! Also tune down goalies on lowest difficulies!

BND is downgrade. EA tries to suck money out of players.
I’m not a fan of the bnd. You should be able to use it for a trade in at some point even if they make it a bnd trade in at some point. Maybe they should just did a limited time bnd cause the cards will be completely useless at some point.

I feel like BND would be perfect if the get rid of all Untradeable Cards/Packs… everytime we have rewards from Rivals/SB/Wildcard, they are untradable and its ruining the Market and thats what make people buy packs in store
It totally depends on how they use it. If you can get bnd from packs then it sucks but if it’s like a card from a set then idrc
The set reqs are absolutely ridiculous this year. But don't buy coins. EA is still so out of touch with this sets
Best way for me to start is at Christmas when it's half price. Paying full price for the game has not been worth it the last couple years. I didn't even play past January in 24. Too aggrevating. Need to give them time to completely change it 4x, then settle into their product.
The game is never half off by Christmas bro .
But you miss the funniest event of the year which is Fantasy Cards, it's the only way to possibly get a 99 very fast like Duchesne did 3 years ago or Dahlin 2 years ago.

Hey man! I used my pre order points, rip, and have a few 82-84 items and a bunch of players.
My only goal is to get a bunch of fantasy players via auction house for my theme team.
Is it better to sell now before oct 4 when people rip packs, or when people have more coins after oct 4?
Seems like x factor, PUI's and especially team builders will be very hard to complete this year free to play without weekly packs...

Why they make defensing harder every year? Scoring is quite hard too. And passing is inaccurate. I have so many icings and puck loses because the puck goes somewhere I didn't mean to point.

You can cherry pick near the blue line behind the forwards and use his speed to beat them on the outside for ez breakaways

Probably not honestly. Prices on the market are HIGH now and will likely settle as the game opens up to more players and more events happen. Plus you can use those coins to get a great boost start to your team
nah, their value is at their highest right now so best thing is to sell every 80+ players you get.

The fact that the battle pass can be maxed is stupid, I’m only playing for coins right now…. I’ve done every challenge objective and most milestones, they should have rewards after maxing the pass
so no more rivals or sb rewards? then why keep the division system in rivals makes 0 sense but whatever last year i struggled online and so far this year i seem to be doing ok not paying attention to my record is a huge change fridays content is going to be huge to show how the year of nhl will be
I ripped some packs and got some 84's and 83's. I put them in the 80-81 set to see how much they would sell on the AH. Only the Draisaitl showed up in the set but the set said 4/4. I sold him.
Now the set says 3/4 but no cards show up in the set. The cards are "there" because when I add another card it says set complete and I can actually make the set.
I reloaded the game a bunch of times and it still say 3/4 with no visable cards. I even uninstall/reinstalled the game and it's still broken. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a fix for it or is this EA being EA...
Can you please make a game for basics/beginners? Pro difficulty is a struggle to even keep posession of the puck. Online play I get smoked. When I lookup tutorials, I just get videos of people going through the controls.
A tip I’d add is don’t do any overall upgrade sets yet. WAIT until the fantasy hockey event as in the past you’d be able to get them at their starting overall. It’s a long shot but you miss all the shots you don’t take 🤷🏻♂️
Funny they take on timers out years ago because it was pretty much broken for scoring they add it back in years later as new and it’s the same as years ago. That’s why I can’t buy the game, it’s just a broken IP
X-Factor and Power-Up icon objectives don't work when playing moments but you can do "Hockey is family" and many other objectives in moments.
Doesn’t even feel like HUT anymore, they made it way too easy to make coin and the rewards are all shit. The packs in the store are astronomically over priced lol feels like you literally have to spend hundreds of dollars on packs to even come close to making a semi decent team.
Been trying to understand the hut market and I think there’s a ton of coins to be made if u grind this week and spend 3k coins on each 80+. For 5 80+s u can get 5 xfactor or icon tokens. Which are basically the new power up tokens. My thought process is so u are telling me for 15k I can get 5 tokens there is no way the market can’t go up with how hard it is to pack 80+s. Sleeves need your thoughts
I was pretty worried after seeing X-Factors have Series 1, I thought they were going to copy whatThe Show did this year and I hated that. Thankfully it doesn't appear that they are, but I'm still not sure what they're doing here is any better thank it used to be. Nice to see Lucas Raymond get a bit of love though.
Sleeves. I'm going to have to ask you to stop emphasizing picking favorite players so hard. I picked Zegras and Johnny Hockey Fantasy Cards last year.... so ya.

Do you think there will be more objectives added in like online wins, goals scored online, squad battle points, sets completed and objectives completed?
Great vid sleevesy! I was struggling with the moments and completely spaced the time sensitive WC XP path, good call on that.
Sleeves I actually played your team in rookie squad battles when I was doing the dekes objective.
I picked Shea because he is my all time favorite player and he is the one who made Me fall in love with hockey ❤

I definitely like him as a player the best. But his speed looked terrible and I already had a couple other RHD
I wish the daily hattrick cards were one per nhl team so you could upgrade someone from your favourite team. Went with Lehner as a sens fan and he was one of my favourite Sens goalies for a while growing up .

Any word on if they will rework the xp path rewards once the full release happens. I would assume the rewards this week are much less to ensure the people who have early access don’t have a huge advantage

Logan couture is one of those players that his cards play better then his stats in the game idk what it is but he's one of those guys so I picked him and he's one of my favorite players

Going on day 3 and my hut is still broken. Crashes immediately and ea has been no help so frustrating
I do think choosing a starter team with more 82s is an advantage! I got both Kane and Seider in my starter pack
So that’s why it’s so hard to score. I kept having to get rid of the goalies stamina.
So r 77 and below nhl players just trade ins for power ups and X factors

Buying expensive base cards makes absolutely no sense. Try to buy cards to complete the XF, TB, PUI sets instead.

I can’t do the dekes behind the net because the ai doesn’t just stand there, they come and challenge me, I’m on rookie. Is there a trick to getting set up behind the net where they won’t challenge you?
I was able to just turn my back. The defense guy will literally stand right next to you.. works by the circle and in the trapezoid.
