Nerve has been in use for a long time, likely derived from nervus, which is Latin for sinew. Makes sense in the context, he’s basically saying he’s in your flesh.
Warhammer universe is a lot more advance than us in term of Magic. Ability to produce energy without resourcr consumption or heavy machinery is a type of very advance technology.
I still will never understand how the leech and Blightstormers are so posh and educated despite the fact that they call others southlanders and are from the Rotblood tribe in Norsca. Surely they were once mean of the empire before they became Chaos Sorcerers? How can they call them southlanders? Otherwise they’d have Norse accents.
Well firstly, they aren't really "posh and educated", they just aren't crazed, seething at the mouth barbarians. Secondly, neither the Leech nor the Blightstormer has any real formal magic training, they just use it willy nilly and rely on Nurgle to watch out for them, especially the Blightstormer, which Sienna will call them out for. Third, is there really a "Norscan" accent? They all sound Western European, save for some people like Archaon who sound slightly scandinavian, but then you've got Bodvarr who is straight up just an angry brit. The Leech/Blightstormers ARE Norscans, just not the "angry viking barbarian" type.

Sounds like Toby Longworth to me. Edit: I looked it up, It is Toby Longworth. Double Edit: It's actually Johnathan Keeble. I get the two mixed up since Toby writes books for Black Library and Johnathan does voice acting for Audio dramas/books for the same company. Triple Edit: It's Toby not Johnathan from the sounds of it. Sorry about that.

Saltzpyre: "This is why I burn people."
Sienna: Saltzpyre, need a light?
*The transgressions of the faithless...must be PUNISHED*
Sounds like something Saltzpyre would say
So the real important thing here is that this confirms that medical science in Warhammer Fantasy has advanced to the point of identifying nerve cells

Nurgle is the god of disease and decay, I'm sure he has a lot of medical knowledge
Nerves have been known about since the roman doctor, Gaylan, demonstrated what happens when you chop the nerves of a pig.

Nurgle educates them in many ways of the flesh
No more pain...
So it’s “Rotfather calls you”...
I thought it was “You father told you”, kept wondering what the hell that meant
I always thought it was "your father calls you" as if the mage was struggling to figure out how to convince you to submit
@OHGAS I actually thought he said "Your fathers call you" as to say join the dead
I thought he was saying "The Rotfather holds you".

That "No more Fear, no more Pain" almost reminded my of Dawn of War's iconic Pariah's line: "So much Fear, so much Death"
