Since they mentioned that Emily’s feet swell, your feet and legs swell after long flights because the constant sitting and lack of movement decreases blood circulation to the legs. Best practice would be to wear compression socks for flights and road trips! Ones that go up to the bend of your knees. It’s great for when you’ll be on your feet all day too. Compression socks boost blood circulation and you will feel much better! Decreased pain and swelling in the legs! I’m a healthcare worker and I wear them. My legs don’t hurt as much at the end of my shifts.
