I have had my heart broken by people that I have loved. This song reminds me so much of a bad time in my current relationship. I have depression and abandonment issues, so when I have break ups it hurts twice as bad. I always love too hard and too fast and I get very attached to the ones I love. In the period of this bad time in my relationship, I thought the world was perfect until out of the blue he said it was over. He gave me a hoodie and I slept in it for days on end; it was the only way I could sleep. I really did get used to being someone he loved.
