This song fits my grandparents perfectly. They married young during WW2. My grandpa was a soldier. They stayed married until they died in their late 80's. They still kissed, danced, spent all their time together (and with family), enjoyed each other and loved each other dearly until the day they died. They have been a huge inspiration to me & taught me how to be an amazing parent to my kids. I love them & miss them dearly.

I know of quite a few marriages like this. Most of them are older people though. It doesn't seem like marriages last much anymore, but I still know of some young-ish married couples in their 40s & 50s who have been happily & freely married since they got married in their 20s. If it is a good faithful marriage where both people choose to be one supporting eachother as a unit, making it work out wonderfully even during the stressful times. What a blessing that would be!

I know of quite a few marriages like this. Most of them are older people though. It doesn't seem like marriages last much anymore, but I still know of some young-ish married couples in their 40s & 50s who have been happily & freely married since they got married in their 20s.
If it is a good faithful marriage where both people choose to be one supporting eachother as a unit, making it work out wonderfully even during the stressful times. What a blessing that would be!
