Martin Morrison Love Trust Legacy Fund

The Love Trust is dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty through education. We work with change-agents in South Africa and abroad to make a lasting impact on vulnerable communities across the country.
Founded in 2009, The Love Trust is a South African charitable not for profit organisation (NPO) with a vision to nurture future generations of servant leaders by providing quality values-based education to vulnerable children.
As a result of Martin’s retirement as CEO (2009 -2023), it was decided that the time was right to use that opportunity to establish a legacy fund, like an endowment fund.
Through the Love Trust, Martin has contributed to establishing life-changing programmes to uplift disadvantaged communities through quality education in our country.
The purpose of the Legacy Fund is to establish a financial reserve for future use. The primary purpose of this legacy fund is to build up an R100m reserve by 2040.
The legacy fund is primarily for the development and maintenance of fixed assets but can also be accessed for innovative projects.
