    To add to the point of the one who said that conquerors never bothered to conquer Arabia: Genesis said that God said that Ishmael will be made into a great nation however that area was ignored by the conquerors. Arab only became great after the advent of Islam which could be an argument for the truthfulness of the message of Islam using their own bible.

      I miss the significance of Ishmael to Mohammad. Ishmael was Abraham's bastard son whom Sarah threw out the kingdom in favor of her own son Issac. According to the Bible Ishamel (Genesis 16:12) "He shall be a wild donkey of a man, his hand against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, and he shall dwell over against all his kinsmen.”
      I'd say the prophecy is true. Christians and Jews get along. As do Hindus and all other faiths. It is only Islam that is on Jihad against the world. "Kill all infidels wherever you find them."
      Muslims can dismiss the Bible verse as "corrupted" and anti-Arab in this instance. But Christians and Jews can dismiss the Quran as "made up" by a man. Even say, to defend his Arab culture.
      Maybe someone can explain it to me.

      @@DaMann-zm6kt Different translations I.e. "And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren." KJV doesn't really sound that negative.
      Anyway he isn't a bastard but I guess you guys don't read your bible so I'll let that pass, Sarah and God gave Abraham permission to have a child with Hagar. Jews got jealous that Abraham's firstborn wasn't a Jew which explains the negative undertones, but I don't think you care because you worship a Jewish man.
      "And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation." Gen 17:20 God blessed Ishmael, shame on you for hating a man whom God and Abraham loved.

      @@DaMann-zm6kt You're skipping quite a bit of history. Christians have massacred Jews en masse historically and have traditionally blamed Jews for killing Jesus. When they initially massacred the Jews in Palestine, it was an absolute bloodbath. Christians also believe once the Jews have returned to the holy land (i.e. today), once Jesus returns he will slay all the Jews. That prophecy has been found to be horrifically false.

      @@DaMann-zm6ktyou can message the institute from the link in the description bro
      english isn’t my first language but if i am understanding you correctly i would answer you by saying that even if one prophecy of genesis or christian religion is true that doesn’t mean that it’s not corrupted in other verses or shows contradictions here & there. But that isn’t the case with quran.
      + i didn’t quit get the why the verse of quran you mentioned would let the christians & jews act like you clarified ((But Christians and Jews can dismiss the Quran as “made up" by a man. )) so i didn’t answer to that part.

    • @owl8930
      @owl8930 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DaMann-zm6kt Historically speaking, jews and christians WERE NOT on friendly terms. Prior to the zionist movement, jews flourished the most under muslim rule, while the christians banished and persecuted them. The same can be argued now, where christians are treated like dirt in Israel, despite american evangelical's love for Israel. The same evangelicals are also those who make a million conspiracy theories against them. I won't write much on the verse you quoted, but it was revealed in the context of war after the "infidels" had been oppressing and persecuting the muslims (Something the hindutva are doing right now btw). Not really something you can understand unless you sincerely look into it.
      As for the arab culture. The prophet ﷺ completely reformed it from what we call "The time of Ignorance" to what became acceptable within the framwork of Islam. The prophet ﷺ was in no way a nationalist, which makes it a faulty argument that Islam was somehow simply made to elevate arab culture. Many of the most prominent islamic scholars were from Persia, Egypt, Bukhara and more. I haven't read it myself, but Sapience Institute has recently put out a book called "Abraham Fulfilled: A Biblical Study of God’s Plan for Ishmael and Arabia", if the topic interests you.

    To add to the point about the claim that the stories mentioned in many scriptures are metrologies.
    - why would different scriptures from different times and places , different languages, that has no connection to each other keep mentioning the same names, the same places, the same events, in a very specific way.. to understand how strong this argument is, we have to imagine ourselves living in the 7th century, the time of Jesus(pbuh) , the time of moses (pbuh) .. .. informations n connection between nations were very hard , even impossible due to the language barrier .. so thats a proof for a common origin thats influenced all these scriptures..

    Ibrahim (AS) was not an arab , nor was Ishmael (AS) of course but what happened is that Ismael got married to an arab woman from yemen from Jurhum tribe and became one of them and an arab speaker. The Arabs are of two categories: 1-The ones that origins geografically from other than arab region and later learned arabic and lived amongst the arabs, as Ismael and the offspring of Ismael, and they are called "Al arab al musta'ariba". 2- The ones that were originally from the Arab region (as the tribes of yemen) and who were the arabs of the time and they were called "Al arab al 'aribah" or the real arabs. So the answer to the brother who asked Hijab about what that makes Ismael: He was from the first category and was "Arab musta'rib" and his offspring including our beloved prophet Mohammad PBUH. .

    Trying to study the connection between all theology & theories of genesis to come to a general philosophical point. As an amateur the Epic of Gilgamesh & its historical companions, not Christianity nor Judaism seem to be the most convincing counter to Islam & Abrahamic faith as a whole. The scriptures as an mis interpretation of higher cosmic beings & their technological, genetic intervention in the Earth’s pre existing nature. Have not heard many even mention or address the theory. Islam as the strongest step towards but not the final conception of the one creator, God. Looking to reconcile this
