the YJ's are timeless. I am listening to their albums since they started in the eighties, after Robben F. In my car, during holidays all over the world. They are a life companion for me. So grateful.
Me too. My favorite Jazz song of all time. Equal contribution by all four. Killer dynamics. The build up in this song is fantastic. Can't play it loud enough. Out of Town used to be my favorite but somewhere over the years this one took over for good. Sightseeing is great too. Best album ever.
Great song from a great album by a great band. Love the push and pull from the arrangement of that triplet shuffle against the straight sixteenths. Fabulous.
Mmmm.....I think all the iterations of Yellow Jackets are incredibly strong for different reasons. However, emotionality and drama in music of this version of YJ is off the charts. And, Marc Russo's playing just grabs me by my gut and blows it through my head with his exciting and dynamic playing and soloing. Needless to say, the compositions and the playing by everyone else, WOW!!! There's a hunger here, a thirst for that indescribable bliss, magic...
One of the greatest fusion bands ever!
33 years later and still the greatest Yellowjackets album ever
Absolutely correct, KM. A Masterpiece indeed.
The best jazz original piece ever.. I Love Yackets
I wish they would re-release this one. I had this many years ago….
Wicked Jazz Fusion Classic 👌

This is my all time favourite Yellow Jackets song. Play it on a weekly basis.

Jimmy Haslip, wow man that bassline is super
This is so so awesome
A MASTERPIECE
there's no language barrier to the music of the yellow jacket s
Bought this CD after seeing the Yellowjackets and Larry Carlton live ...they were selling them in the lobby..circa 1988 Austin Texas
the 4 corners album should have been a sound track to a movie.

The bass line reminds of Jaco, pure and precise.
And yet totally Haslip. No one can touch the abysmal & staggering level of talent that was Mr. Jaco Pastorius!
Haslip is brilliant
Pure masterpiece.
Son caught on . 🙏🏾
Strongest YJ Band !
