I wish that I could decorate my home as lovely as this. Between my 3 cats and my husband and 2 kids that don't seem to care to clean up after themselves, it's impossible for me to do this. I can't tell you how many times I've come home to a dirty house after working a 12 hour night shift. I'll just live my home dreams through you 😊. Your home is absolutely beautiful.

I have one cat and three kids you just have to make them pitch in to clean up and keep it that way, and my cat ..you would never I have an animal in my home no smell or nothing. She's quiet and clean .you can do it.

Mercy, I'm so happy for you. I know this feels like a huge accomplishment... I remember my first house...:-) By the way, I noticed that the mirror hanging over your living room sofa matches your dinning room table. You should try switching it up. Try taking the mirror that's over the console in the dinning room buy a duplicate of it and hang them vertically side-by-side over the sofa in the living room.

The crystal ball "thing" on top of the lamp shade is called a finial. They hold the lamp shade in place and come in many different designs from basic to fancy.

When I made my cookie Jars I made sure to get ones that were straight up and down even all the way around because the cookies lay flat and its easy. my daughter does them for me and her friends always rush to the cookie jars when they visit.

I loved the pieces and color contrasts that blended with the living room and kitchen. Also, ya bedroom colors of neutral colors with tints of gold with the crystals knobs on the dressers and side tables was a nice TOUCH.

Looks nice! The only thing I would change would be to put the cookie jars in the kitchen that little tray that their own is where liquor would go. And exchange the pink pillow with a pink decorative object. The pink concept is gorgeous.

Girl, if you have a Burlington near you, you need to check it out because they have great things at great prices. That high window, you may want to think about making it a window seat or reading nock and placing a ladder at the base of the staircase.
Just fyi.. those jars are not airtight so ur cookies will not stay fresh. You can get the round jar meant for cookies at target..

You have to take those glass jars that's filled with the cookies and add them to your refrigerator every night as a routine. if not if they cookies stay into the glass draw they will go stale
