For reals though thanks for all the work you guys do, whenever you guys put up a video or podcast I know it's going to make me laugh and make my day that little better. Keep doing what you're doing and I hope even more success finds your way!
I feel like every time Derrick is in the podcast he makes really funny jokes that nobody laughs at. Taste of the poo, for example, I found that hilarious while nobody even smirked. I often feel the need to pause and saviour Derrick's jokes like a fine wine in order to appreciate the content appropriately, I advise others to do the same.
Welcome back. This podcast was great, pretty cool when you guys got serious talking about Sakaguchi's thank you - I find nowadays that everyone is "too cool" for the real stuff and eventually they regret not taking their time to take those awesome moments in. And the podcast ending fucked me up due to laughter. See you next week!
I love both the Sopranos and Breaking Bad, but the pound for pound champ is by far The Wire. True Detective is close, that single camera one take scene where Cole is getting out of the projects might be the best few minuets of TV I have ever seen.
I didn't go to the con, so I didn't get a chance to play Y2K, but I know the woman who did all the art for it and stuff, it sounds cool and I hope to see it on wii u or steam or something. Also, they made another game that Derrick might like called "two brothers" on steam.
The Giantbomb panel this year had a money booth, an quiz on how to be an adult for a man-child, and a bunch of people seriously roleplaying as wrestlers. If any panel ruins all other panels, it's theirs.
I think The Wire is better than The Sopranos overall, though maybe not quite as consistent near the end. Season 5 definitely had some weak points, but everything before that was easily the best television I've ever seen in my life. If you liked the Sopranos, I feel like you would really love The Wire.
Keep up the good work guys, love you all, I listen to your podcast with KISS FM in the background on a Sunday morning (great combo). I never knew any of your original ethnicity, i just see you as Americans as I see myself British although I am not of English decent. All the best from UK!
Sopranos for the win! Not just because they were on a premium channel, but because it told the story of a man juggling a double life and facing desperate situations and trying to maintain stability for him and his family, all while having a million flaws, being diagnosed a manic depressive, and having to confide a psychiatrist. It told the same kind of story that Braking Bad had and did it first and better.
My best friend and I do a weekly podcast together called Kaleb's Korner. We're both in college so we tell embarrassing stories about failed tinder dates, talk about trying to get a job, and plenty of other funny stuff! If you are looking for a new podcast to start listening to please give Kaleb's Korner a try! Thank you!
As a singular once in a lifetime experience, movies are a little bit better than tv, but tv shows are not as encapsulated as a movie and really shows how characters develop and evolve over time like a movie never could. They are both worth while experiences and both are great. Just different forms of media.
I never had a mission burrito but fuck rice in burritos. Like Shaun said, it's just filler. I love rice but the rice should complement the meal around it. You wouldn't put rice in an empanadilla either unless you want a spanking.
To this day, I still don't get this burrito thing you guys have. I've been to cotijas, lucha libre, etc. Some are better than others, but there's definitely some damn good burritos down there. Thing is, there are damn good burritos up here too. Furthermore, there are plenty of burritos with rice and beans in San Diego. If you don't want rice and beans in your burrito, don't order rice and beans in your burrito. Everywhere in California seems to serve the three main styles of burrito, classic, mission, and California, so just get what you want. This story your describing is like a new yorker going to Chicago and complaining that the pizza isn't new York style pizza. In fact, you sound like the same people you think are wrong, as in the people who claim the mission burrito is better.
Derrick has a great taste in games, but because he enjoys indie games he's deemed a hipster. Probably by the same idiots who call the PS4 the indie station like it's a bad thing.
For reals though thanks for all the work you guys do, whenever you guys put up a video or podcast I know it's going to make me laugh and make my day that little better. Keep doing what you're doing and I hope even more success finds your way!
I want Derrick to be most Christ-like so we can drink his Pina Colada blood for communion.
Still Waiting is now listed under "Customers Who Viewed This Item Also Viewed" on the Kickapoo amazon page
Breaking Bad is just as good as The Sopranos real talk though
Was the audio choppy and cutting out for anyone else?
ya, same thing for me. really weird
I bet it's the Razer mics. Every damn Razer I've has has end up acting all weird and borderline unusable within months or years.
I blame Baram Okama.
Simo Kolehmainen I don't know why the razer mics would cause the video to skip and get cut out I think it is probably a local recording issue.
Fucking Eric can't even manage the shit

47:09 is pure gold.
Wait did Sean say someone brought him a Decemberists vinyl? Sean do you like them? That band is dooope
I never knew about the trials and tribulations Italians go through, I'll stop asking them if they eat spaghetti and meatballs everyday
Me me, I'm a Kickapoo man.
I really enjoy when Derrick gets genuine about sharing his thoughts on his and the boys' careers
Rocco has lost a ton of weight 7 years later!
The greatest achievement for a game developer is to have a mega64 video. It's basically the Nobel prize in gaming industry.
Welcome back.

See you next week!

I love both the Sopranos and Breaking Bad, but the pound for pound champ is by far The Wire. True Detective is close, that single camera one take scene where Cole is getting out of the projects might be the best few minuets of TV I have ever seen.
Where's the mozza, Rocco?
I didn't go to the con, so I didn't get a chance to play Y2K, but I know the woman who did all the art for it and stuff, it sounds cool and I hope to see it on wii u or steam or something. Also, they made another game that Derrick might like called "two brothers" on steam.
Love how you guys expose all these Japanese video game legends to us mortal people.
Mad Men, Fargo, True Detective, Utopia, Deadwood, Orange Is The New Black, Band of Brothers, Louie...
The Giantbomb panel this year had a money booth, an quiz on how to be an adult for a man-child, and a bunch of people seriously roleplaying as wrestlers. If any panel ruins all other panels, it's theirs.
Lost and the sopranos ended years ago, and there still talking about them
49:39 Did Shawn edit in the "HOOTINI" sound?
I think it’s Derrick’s phone
Chipotle is on par with my college dorm food. I will never understand the fascination of that place among white suburban families.
As a San Diegan living in San Francisco now I agree with Derick completely with the burrito bit.
I think The Wire is better than The Sopranos overall, though maybe not quite as consistent near the end. True Detective bodies all.
But it will suck after that genius first season. Seriously, HBO? Vince fucking Vaughn?!
we will have to wait and see
Ocean Sage oh god no
That Guy ThatWearsClothes It will ruin the show, so I don't think I'll even watch it.
Ocean Sage I heard Collin Farewell I can't spell his name. The guy from phone booth is going to be in it.
Kaya's call in the aftershow fucking slaughtered me, holy shit
IF it doesn't have rice and beans, it's a wrap.

Great podcast guys!
I was just talking about the consistency of sopranos with a friend the other day. Holy Shit lol
47:05 Killed me.
Erik needs his own mic. he always sounds distant whenever he talks
Damn, I'd buy one of those snapbacks if you made more.
8:25 Never used twitter. 10:28 We're in a golden age of the internet
man you guys missed a great opportunity to play the chant from the Oklahoma frat while getting away with it
Fuzzy Navel sounds like my kind of drink
Damn I really want one of those hats.
Yo La Costa in San Jose and the Bay area, those are the true bay area burritos

Derrick needs to check out Kinguin.net. I get all my games from there now. Can you tell him, *****?

I have lived in Boston my whole life. IT SUCKS HERE. I wanna move to San Diego.

Things got real.

Nice Mics Razer
Was the theme of this podcast to have exaggerated laughs?
Fuck.
I want to get the Variety pack of Kickapoo stuff, but the damn place won't export to Australia.
Fuck.
ERIC SHAVE DUDE
Derrick is really Puerto Rican? If that is true that is cool because so am I.
I never had a mission burrito but fuck rice in burritos. Like Shaun said, it's just filler. I love rice but the rice should complement the meal around it. You wouldn't put rice in an empanadilla either unless you want a spanking.
Thought Derrick was Mexican for the longest time. Most Puerto Ricans I know are pretty light. Plus them being in California made me assume Mexican.
I'm sorry but I have to disagree. Seinfield is best show ever. Prove me wrong.
Sopranos doesn't have an overall bad episode, true, but most of the Meadow storylines are rough.
You miss me on twitter? @dathaybarn
Mad Men is definitely better than movies

fix the sound!
I think Derek's metabolism is slowing down.
House of Cards and Game of Thrones don't have a bad episode IMO.
Game of Thrones sucked until the second half of season 4
viralinfecticide The second half of season 4 is literally when Game of Thrones started to suck
I watch mega64 podcasts but not their funny vidz
Heist is a crimes.
POSTER ABUSE

Some episodes in season 5 of Sopranos are pretty bad
So much lag.
I always thought Derrick was Indian........
#newpooflavour
Another podcast.....
I thought Derrick was Indian and black.
Derrick has a great taste in games, but because he enjoys indie games he's deemed a hipster. Probably by the same idiots who call the PS4 the indie station like it's a bad thing.
Agree with the criticisms of BrBa. Pretty overrated IMO.
I'd recommend the guys watch The Wire but I doubt it's their cup of tea.
first
Sakaguchi Mane is better
Can Rocco do a strip tease?
TV sucks.
