Good question. I don't actually know, but considering that this SQ came out before the 'going exclusive' feature, my guess would be that it plays out how it originally did - no adjustments. Wouldn't be the first time smth doesn't make sense.

Currently you can pause the relationship Once you pause the relationship you can date that choice again after a 2-week period (14 days). All date options become available once you decide to pause the relationship but they drop 1 level each time.

I have the answer. You have to reach level 7 with the person you want to be exclusive. Then, you have to reach level 7 with someone else, one that you don't had reached this level before, and you had to say "No" in the exclusive question. After that, the game give you the opportunity to select another person with the same question. Just say Yes!
If you want to be exclusive with Merula, I suggest u save leveling her up for last. Do all the other characters first and their appropriate side quests, say no, get the gift and repeat.
There's no reward for finishing a date besides the XP that you get, but Leveling up will give you some rewards, but they Will be random. Might be a book, might be energy, might be club XP...

I see a "!" at the place where Chocolate frog hunts and full makrs etc. are shown but when i click on it it doesn't show a extra event. And they really should have done the energy tree with buying with coins/gems and not actual money.
As for the exclamation mark, I have it too. The only possible reason in my case would be the fact, that I haven't earned a single crest for the crest event, so it's letting me know there's an event in case I missed it, but I doubt that's the case. I think it's more likely just a glitch. Wouldn't be the first time.

With the 3 clubhouse bars i can see that the pink/swinx bar is more filled but the yellow/dragon bar clearly show 38522 and the green/hippogriff bar 38590 while the pink one shows 385370. How can a bar be filled more while the number clearly shows less than the other two bars

@AddisonFlores-e7p you know how there were sidequests that would trigger when you reached level 7 in romance and they would give you an item for completing it? Those side quests.

You can date as many characters as you like, but you can only go exclusive with one at a time. Once you trigger the SQ for any one of the characters you're dating, you will have to choose to go exclusive with that one or not. But dating other characters will not prevent you from triggering the SQ that leads to going exclusive.

OK, have you gone exclusive with a character? It might be, that you need to be exclusive to continue to level up that character and access the third dating spot.
You don't get the love letters. Not sure about the portrait, but I think that dissapears as well. You o ly get to keep the accessories you earned through the SQ.

Yes, you can try again, but you'll first need to reach level 7 again. I would suggest leaving your True exclusive character for Last (If you want to do all SQ's, so you don't have the extra work of Leveling up a character twice)
Nothing in there about dating teachers. And you can only date students that are exclusive to this game (so none of the Weasleys for example because it would mess with canon).

I mean, you don't have to do any of this. Dating is not neccesary, it's just a side activity and also a total coin grab. There's no time limit tho.
