Old Growth Forest network disagrees . There's old growth forest up and down the east coast and extends to illinois.. In fact the US government has just said this year they cataloged over 100 million acres of old growth left.

What I'd give to see a huge forest of MASSIVE Oaks like we read about in the European fairytales.

Theres more old growth in the Adirondacks than there is in the Appalachians.
