I can understand that. I had an apartment in Pingsha Town Zhuhai and worked in Shenzhen. I didn't go back to Pingsha for a month and noticed the changes. Three huge buildings that had been shrouded in green protective cloth had been revealed. What a difference they made.
That happened to me too. I’ve been living in Canada for the past 17 years. I go back to China for at least 1-3 months per year. I feel more and more that I am outdated and need to learn new stuff whenever I go back. Canada almost didn’t have much change for the past 17 years. Still a quiet place to live :-). But if you want excitements and new things all the time then China is a great place to be!
Duhhh... no beaurocratic egoistical assholers running the towns administrative that always slow down the developments...that always happen in US towns n cities. My city spends one year to fix sewage system, n still in progress. If this happens in China, it will be done yesterday with today's planning.

Being drawn from the Chinese diaspora in Malaysia, I really appreciate such video to showcase the good and wonderful thing China is doing and the work of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and not CCP. Likewise, my late mother mourned the passing of the late Chairman Mao in September 1976 for three months as if he was her father. She related to me when the PLA came to her village, they brought some chicken and rice and requested the villagers to cook and have a meal with them so that they can explain their ideology and philosophy. Contrast with the Japanese soldiers who raped, killed and pillage and the Nationalist Army did likewise except the rape part. My mother had to seek refuge in the hills to avoid them as she was in her late teens. Such is the behaviour and characteristics of the CPC and the PLA. Stay safe and enjoy the festive season. Keep warm too.

现在的农村真的是越来越宜居了，每次回老家都会感叹农村的变化，真的越来越漂亮了，而且想赚钱开车几分钟十几分钟就能到周边的工厂，虽然工资也就两三千，但是不用加班，不用担心吃不用担心房子，对于中老年人是个很好的生活方式。年青人创业的也有一部分选择农村了，环境好适合创作，房租便宜地方又大，现在交通方便快递方便网络方便什么都不会确。
