It was upto Deji to put the work in but his trainers were just yes men being easy on him telling him he would win theres no way Deji was that confident before on his own it was clear his team was giving him false hope!
Deji just prefers yes men and not honesty that’s why he left viddal’s camp during his fight against jake. He lacked discipline, didn’t train as hard or eat the food prepared by their chef and just streamed all day. If he wants to live in his fantasy of him working hard and putting in the effort, then he’ll sure be facing people who think otherwise

Deji was doing way too many big swings without putting his hands up when attacked, did he really train in boxing maybe, I reckon the pressure of the audience and him taking Vinnie lightly played a massive part in what he did, he just wasn’t thinking straight
That and yes men, always surround yourself with quality people

I don't think he looked awful, he definitely has strength. He just needs to work on his cardio and come up with a good game plan. I would also look for a new trainer, as his current one looks awful. He didn't prepare Deji for the fight at all
