I saw Terminator 4K standard release a week ago and was blown away at the new clarity of the picture. I know some people will scoff at the thought of Cameron using AI to improve the picture but this was masterfully done, fine grain is present and it's not a wax job like T2. I don't do this often but I double dipped on the steelbook for my collection.
Blazing Saddles came out in 1974, very good movie… James McAvoy is Fantastic I knew he would be something when I first saw him in Wanted back in 2008… One of my favorites! The Terminator looks Damn Good on 4K! I said the same thing only 4K I had an issue with was Terminator 2… All other Cameron releases have been great!
I knew you were going to love A Simple Plan. Love the story and characters as well. The amazing cinematography is an added bonus. Sam Raimi's direction also deserves to be commended.
Love The Producers. Of course, the original not the musical. It’s so funny. Also Spaceballs is a classic! For me it’s right up there with Young Frankenstein.
I think so. After some of the 4K disasters of 2024 - an infamous year for 2024 - especially James Cameron’s True Lies and Aliens are just really bad. Jaw 3D and a few others BUT The Terminator is truly a stunning transfer/upgrade/restoration. If you buy one film this year and you’re a fan of Sci-Fi this is the film to get. I love it.
I know what you mean. T2 is one of my favorite discs. It's exactly what I want out of 4k. Razor Sharp Clarity and zero grain. Do I appreciate Grain on the movies that have grain. Yes. Do i need grain? Nope...
THANK YOU. I don’t analyze these films either. If it’s not perceptible at a reasonable distance away from my tv, it’s fine in my opinion. I loved the Aliens release. It looked great. I should be getting The Terminator but I’m going to wait.
I like reviews like yours. Simple and profound. I don't care about the technical stuff. I like to hear if it's a good picture or not.
Thanks for watching!

I`ve got Terminator in Blu-ray still sealed. But from new titles I got Joker 2 pre-ordered in 4k. Can`t wait to watch it.
Wb needs to continue doing this types of releases, great transfers, Dolby atmos and new special features on all their movies

If you haven’t seen The Producers and Spaceballs (also directed by Mel Brooks) you should check them out!

Totally agree with you about Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Something was just missing
Robin Hood: Men in Tights is a good Mel Brooks film. There's a Blazing Sadles joke in there.
