    Definitely true. Always the same at most good breaks. Bittersweet. Except that one day when the wind suddenly turns offshore and nobody is out! The "impact zone" itself also brings forth both heaven and hell - not for the crowd - for the slam, the holddown.

    It does look particularly throaty at times doesn't it.
    The unseen and unmentioned side of the SB is also the current.
    Little gryone kirra used to be called the Trevir Hendy rip in my time.
    Wonder if there is a name for it anymore?

    One of the busiest breaks in the world with some extremely good surfers.

    Every Yin has it's Yang, doesn't it? Man, that crowd looks like hell, but some of those waves look so damn good they'd be hard to pass up.

    I suspect about 70% of these guys will spend the day hanging around the middle and inside trying to pick off waves they assume the guy might fall on anyways,

    Is this Ventura? Paddle in at fairgrounds, surf almost to the pier then walk a mile or so back?
