Girl YES! I met my soon to be husband (we’re getting married next week Friday 😭🙌🏾) at a mutual friends wedding. The night I met him I was going to another dude I was talking to house. This was 2018 and I had 1 Ghanaian American 1 Nigerian who was born in Italy and had a slight Italian accent, and the last one was Liberian American. LIB, and Ghana fell off, and the Italian Nigerian was the last one standing. The night I got my future husband’s number we were texting all night. And either that night or another night I spent with the Nigerian Italian I found out he was a hotep lol. We got into such a bad argument my intuition told me “he’s raising your blood pressure, this man is NOT FOR YOU!”. soaking my nails in olive oil has done wonders for my nails. I naturally have healthy nails but im very active with my hands so they chip easily and my cuticles would get super dry and raggedy looking lol. I found a lil bowl at the beauty supply store made for soaking off acrylic and just use that.

Jessie…. Let’s talk about how you are reviewing this issue with a 23 year old woman with YOUR current age and experience… These are two separate age lenses. I give her grace, she’s young
“If you knew better you’d do better.” I believe Jessie is advising based off Jessie’s experience to help a younger seester in the future. “When you know better you’d grow better.” Some judgments are not made just for the sake of passing judgment.
@ I can agree with you on that to some extent. She’s commenting to us (her viewers) and not said seeester. The part that I was particularly referring to was when Jessie said, “did you ask to see the man deed to his home”. That is simply not a question any younger woman would ask an older man.
@@monkb1010You’re limiting the mental capacity and discernment of an entire age group. The young lady on TikTok’s level of maturity is not indicative of an entire age group. We have got to stop infantilizing ppl in their early 20’s as if they are in extended teen years.
Hi Jessie, how all is well! Thank you for keeping me updated on the tik tok drama. To fix the tik tok audio issues you could download the videos first and play them from her laptop improved the sound quality.
@@tdub226 I think he revived the celebration but I remember my mom mentioning “Detty December” when I was a kid and I’m in my mid 30’s now. But of course it didn’t quite have a name then. It was just known as a time when everyone who moved to the states or overseas returned home for Christmas.
Jessie I agree with you. She didn't really want him and he definitely didn't really want her. He checked out a long time ago because of whatever she was going through and not being financially or intellectually stable. She was looking for a sponsor and he wasn't about to be that. So he was just going to ride it out until he got tired. So her needing a place to stay just kind of brought it to an end
As a Nigerian, I laughed so hard at your comments about Jollof rice 😂. I’ve heard Senegalese Jollof is amazing (Senegal is where the dish is from originally l, I believe). Thanks for bringing up some great points in the live. This girl was really entitled, but he was also wrong for stringing her along. This was a blessing in disguise. Also, I think a dating advice show would be awesome 👏🏾
This girls story is blowing me. She tried to be passive aggressive when she was communicating with him before, she asked to move in..and then act as the victim when he did not entertain it.
SISSSTAAAAA I'm deff loving the long form content! I'm super grateful for your views and opinions. Yeah and I agree when a man doesn't prioritize you, He is not as into her as she is in him.
It’s funny how both countries fighting for the best Jollof. The real ones don’t talk too much 😂 ( Senegal 🇸🇳). The best jollof comes from Senegal ( where it originated from).
Girlllllll Liberian everything is good!!! I tried potato leaves, or any other green soup they make , Walah soup. A liberian woman told me the men from Sierra Leone use to go to Liberia to eat their food and after i had some I believe it.
I paid $140 for a manicure and pedicure and that was expensive for me because it’s usually less than 100 with tip for both when I’m doing a refill with gel.
She didn’t go to her friends or family for help. She was, and is playing games/ being a victim. That man is not responsible to take care of someone who is not his wife. She was being irresponsible. An African man will not just invite you to live with.
He’s not responsible for her but a man with pride isn’t letting his significant other sleep in a car. I’ve had 2 African boyfriends ask me to move in just because leases were up and we loved each other. They definitely would’ve moved me in without hesitation if they thought I was going to be homeless. This man just did not actually care about her.
46:03 Let’s be real, well off men don’t care about how much money you do or don’t have. That man just doesn’t want her for real (or he could be married.) But someone who cares about you wouldn’t let you be homeless, even if they didn’t have the means, they’d at least help you find a solution. He didn’t even thought partner with her about what else could work. He straight up said sleep in your car. That man does not like her at all.
Yes it's messed up that she dated him for a year and he wouldn't let her move in temporarily. However I think that expectation shouldn't be put on a partner, if you are in a bind you should be able to count on family members OR friends. Clearly they weren't on the same page. I wish her the best. Hopefully she sets up a gofundme :(
I wouldn’t be surprised if this older man took this opportunity to be with a young, fun, NAIVE women so he can take the benefits and nothing more. Took advantage of her being naive. Older men do this to young women because they know they’re not getting away with this with an older women 💯
EXACTLY! What were our 20s for? If not to be foolish in love, and not making the best choices in general. To look at this young woman’s story from the lens of a 30+ woman with such judgement is weird. This young lady’s brain is literally not finished developing. What is Jessie actually talking about in this video? 🤔
I grew up in Canada as well. I was shocked the Prime Minister is out 😮also my niece told me the postal service was on strike and the crime is crazy smh
Omo, I love you, but as a 🇳🇬 you chose violence (in Hatian accent) with your jollof rice comments! Still love you, but shots fired! Thought you were family. I’m shook 😩😂
i have to say as a black woman so just turned 24 in december i am really DISAPPOINTED in you Jessie:(( if you view this girl as your sister then why were you laughing at her for most of the video. you can be critical and truthful without being mean, condescending and dare i say a little cruel. i am sure you have made mistakes in relationships and acted dumb but the internet was not there to witness it. this young woman’s biggest mistake was coming to the internet (a breeding ground for hate and derision) seeking compassion. As a big sister you can advise her without mocking her. I really hope you do better moving forward Jessie. this live was painful to watch
Rather than talking about being homeless & sleeping in her car, she should consider using it to drive Uber or Lyft or to deliver for Door Dash or InstaCart to quickly get enough money for a room until she can find a place. Ultimately, like most adults, she shouldn’t feel entitled to receive housing from a man she allegedly dated him for 11 months who was out of the country a considerable amount of that time.
Yeah & since then she’s posted more about the types of guys she normally dates & she seems like she’s looking for a come up… she went on Live and it made me less concerned for her well-being. She has a daughter who lives w her Mom, just all sorts of things don’t line up here.
Jessie thank you for addressing this video with the honesty it needed. You are always a girls girl but heavy on holding women accountable so they can improve rather than just blind support. We as women will not grow if we are just told we are right all the time. While I definitely agree that a lot of men out here are incompetent in many ways…. That won’t make me just blindly support a woman’s actions when they are clearly misguided. Also loveeeeee your channel thank you for all that you do!
yes lets keep these girls SAFE and alive. Listen, this could have been much worse. She was willing to move in fast what if he said yes and put her in a position to not be able to leave? God rejects to protect!
When I heard "Eating Nigerian jollof rice is a meal in preparation for war" (because it's spicy) it made me think of that Amazon show "Secret Level" episode with the four soldiers. And the leader was a Nigerian-British 😂. That episode was epic. Five stars, Ms. Woo. 😊
Jessie when I tell you I’ve watched this 5 times and almost pee’d myself every time from laughing so hard!! The Ghana dance took my breath away every time! Kwame is having a good ole time with his family and friends building his next hostel 😂🤣😂…omg I can’t breathe 😂🤣
Not to mention I thought she said they don’t leave each other’s spaces we they get into it but then said she kicked him out of her house when they got into it
If the audio on TikTok is too low, is there any way you could turn down the volume on your microphone? I think that could help stabilize the sound experience for times like this
Yup the first question I had about her story was how she went from “having hundreds of thousands of dollars” to “nothing”. Like what does that mean? Does she mean that her salary was 100,000 and bc she lost her job she’s saying she lost 100,000
She may not have made the best decisions but I don’t think she was wrong for expecting someone she was in a relationship with to be helpful in a time of need
What is going on in the US your nail and hair prices are of the scale. In the UK its nowhere near them prices yet.But the food prices here whew its not easy.
The way I looked at the screen when she said he has pictures on the wall of himself as proof that he owns the home. 👀👀! Gurl, was it a picture of him with a mortgage statement in his name? WTF!! 🤣🤣🤣
That man don’t want you…but why is she so entitled…exactly why didn’t she ask her friends first….y’all not married and he has every right to do no to having you move into his home…he’s not ready for commitment and he’s telling you that in more ways than one
Jess this is nuthin that needs our attention gurl. Leave this young girl and her learning lessons alone. Considering her age and his culture this is pretty on point. And judging her based on your own financial savviness doesn't help. Next caller!!
Or Jessie is giving her an alternative perspective. When you’re in your 20s, you can have a blinkered, one dimensional view. This video could help her see her situation from a different, accurate angle.

I need to find the original video cus I can’t keep putting the volume ALL the way up, then when Jessie speaks it sounds like my ear drums are gonna rupture!
The way she got me mixing the sound like a music engineer 😂😅
This whole video is why I am not on TikTok. Let the kids have it
I know that’s right!! 🤦🏾♀️
Same. Let the church say lol.
As a Nigerian, you need to try Senegambian jollof. That’s where jollof originated and it shows lol. Blows both out the water in my opinion lol
Fellow Nigerian and I agree!
Jollof- Senegambian wins. I don’t care much for Ghanaian jollof but I chalk that down to the fact that I’m more familiar with Nigerian jollof. Now Ghanaian waakye, goodness! Waakye is so good, I don’t even know why anyone bothers with Ghanaian jollof when there is waakye.
@@eo9196 😂 I'm Ghanaian & our jollof & waakye is both excellent. Don't hate
@@amab1853 lmao. Waakye is bae. Jollof- let’s just say beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. lol.
Facts.
I've been seeing a guy for 5 months who's a millionaire. He has 5 nicee cars. My car broke down and i had to use the apartment money i saved on a new car. He even went a bought a tv for the price of my down payment and bragged about it for weeks.
Lol he buys me a bunch of random shii but being rich doesn't make someone less of a bum.
Girl he’s not a generous man. If he’s spending on things you don’t actually want or need then he won’t do ish for you. You’re wasting your time
@@KB.23So true! I dated a rich guy who took me to fancy restaurants and bought me gifts but he didn't offer me a cent when I told him I was struggling to get money for the vet.
Next thing I know future hubby and I start talking and we’ve been inseparable ever since. We’re going into our 7th year together and this is the year we’ll finally say I Do! 😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Sidebar: He’s Nigerian American 🤣🇳🇬 I’m Congolese American but my last name will officially be a Yoruba name 🙌🏾😂
omgggg
@ I can’t wait to see the proposal video when that day comes 🥹❤️. And from how you describe the beginnings of your relationship especially communication wise ya’ll definitely sound like hubby and I in the best way! You’re meant to be and I wish you nothing but continued and PEACEFUL/SOFT love with you and your man. He’s absolutely you’re future husband 🙌🏾
They’re saying 2025 is going to be all about diy. 💅🏾 I’m planning on growing & strengthening my own nails. Aaahhhh wwhhhooaa, save your moneyyy.
Since that man is now president, I’m trying to do the same! Ayee ayee ayee ayee ayee, black women save yo money, ayeee whoahhhhhhh 😂
soaking my nails in olive oil has done wonders for my nails. I naturally have healthy nails but im very active with my hands so they chip easily and my cuticles would get super dry and raggedy looking lol. I found a lil bowl at the beauty supply store made for soaking off acrylic and just use that.
Jessie is so pretty I’m really in awe
jessie we have a very similar love story 😭 last year in june i went on my first date with my now bf and it was at a mexican restaurant too. we were there for four hours lol time flew by so fast and i remember coming home smiling so hard. ever since then i knew he was the love of my life and its a feeling i’ve never felt before. it’s true when they say when you know you know. your story made me so happy. i’m wishing marriage and babies soon for the both of us girl ❤
Awww thanks for sharing ❤ yess wishing an engagement and marriage for you soon girl
Y'all she's reviewing Love Is Blind Germany, WE WON XD, everybody say Danke Jessie ❤️
Happy new year from your cameroonian baddie 😎
Generous people are generous regardless of how they feel about you. So then they ARE cheap!! 😂😂
Omg, so glad LIB Germany is getting a review🙌🏾
Detty December actually started in Nigeria, and once people caught wind and told a friend how Nigerians party, I knew it was going to be a wrap!
Yessss I just went to Nigeria for Christmas and it was lit!
By Mr. Eazi right? I was in Lagos and Accra this season 🔥
@@tdub226 I think he revived the celebration but I remember my mom mentioning “Detty December” when I was a kid and I’m in my mid 30’s now. But of course it didn’t quite have a name then. It was just known as a time when everyone who moved to the states or overseas returned home for Christmas.
No it did not lol the term was tested and coined by Ghanaians
@ ok girl! You got it!
Girl you need a lapel mic or something. Without earbuds I can barely hear and with earbuds you're killing my hearing 😂😂
Jess your love story is 🥰 each time I hear snippets I,love it even more… wish you more love ahead
This girls story is blowing me. She tried to be passive aggressive when she was communicating with him before, she asked to move in..and then act as the victim when he did not entertain it.
Hey Jessie , please document you looking for a job ! Like as a vlog type thing !!! I’d love those interactive everyday video 🩷🩷love you
My Gaaawd! Jessie is stunning! Look at the material 😍
She wants us to listen to her podcast but we wanna see her face 😅😂
I'm not gon' make it through this video! Jesse you are diabolical🤣🤣🤣😭😭Guys, I cannot breathe!😭😭
Seester! I was cheesing the whole time you were talking about your 1st date with Mr Easter. I’m so happy for you ewooooooo!
Jessie the Ghanaian dance killed me 😂😂😂😂😂😂
SISSSTAAAAA I'm deff loving the long form content! I'm super grateful for your views and opinions. Yeah and I agree when a man doesn't prioritize you, He is not as into her as she is in him.
Your lighting is 👌🏾.
Man! So I have to now add Love is Blind Germany to my watching list? 😂
It’s funny how both countries fighting for the best Jollof. The real ones don’t talk too much 😂 ( Senegal 🇸🇳). The best jollof comes from Senegal ( where it originated from).
The nail tech went up with the economy
Libras can’t catch a break on this channel 🫠
She don't belong to us. She a Taurus
Girlllllll Liberian everything is good!!! I tried potato leaves, or any other green soup they make , Walah soup. A liberian woman told me the men from Sierra Leone use to go to Liberia to eat their food and after i had some I believe it.
Jessie Woo!! Every time I hear microphone I automatically hear “unplug the microphone!! Get a job bih!”
Girl who is cooking Nigerian jollof for you 😂because what. Not war 😂
“With all that strong armin’….” 😂😂😂😂😂
46:03 Let’s be real, well off men don’t care about how much money you do or don’t have. That man just doesn’t want her for real (or he could be married.) But someone who cares about you wouldn’t let you be homeless, even if they didn’t have the means, they’d at least help you find a solution. He didn’t even thought partner with her about what else could work. He straight up said sleep in your car. That man does not like her at all.
Right and he was not held accountable for that at all.
Jessie we love you 😍 but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix the audio. Maybe get an audio tech in and they can advise. Or maybe a clip on mic….
Your story with mr easter is so sweet
Jess thank you for telling the truth. Ghana 🇬🇭 jollof rice is the best period
When the Adowa started I choked! 😭😭💀
Omo, I love you, but as a 🇳🇬 you chose violence (in Hatian accent) with your jollof rice comments! Still love you, but shots fired! Thought you were family. I’m shook 😩😂
LOVE YALL
Not you went on the 2nd date with stars in your eyes from Mr. Easter 🤣🤣
You can hear better when you listen on headphones. For anyone that can’t hear well it’s very helpful ❤
i have to say as a black woman so just turned 24 in december i am really DISAPPOINTED in you Jessie:(( if you view this girl as your sister then why were you laughing at her for most of the video. you can be critical and truthful without being mean, condescending and dare i say a little cruel. i am sure you have made mistakes in relationships and acted dumb but the internet was not there to witness it. this young woman’s biggest mistake was coming to the internet (a breeding ground for hate and derision) seeking compassion.
@ 💯🎯
Spot on! Sometimes you gotta get it how you live!

Jessie need to try Liberian Jollof
Coming from a Nigerian girl who tried dating a Ghanaian guy. I couldn’t do the cheapskate behavior, I was like nah, I’m heading back home.
Yeah I pay about 130 for both nails and toes😂 I’ve been doing my own the last couple months though
This is a truly crazy dynamic. Praying for ole girl
When I heard "Eating Nigerian jollof rice is a meal in preparation for war" (because it's spicy) it made me think of that Amazon show "Secret Level" episode with the four soldiers. And the leader was a Nigerian-British 😂. That episode was epic. Five stars, Ms. Woo. 😊
Jessie That dance took me out !😂
Jessie when I tell you I’ve watched this 5 times and almost pee’d myself every time from laughing so hard!! The Ghana dance took my breath away every time! Kwame is having a good ole time with his family and friends building his next hostel 😂🤣😂…omg I can’t breathe 😂🤣
If a man doesn’t offer you a place to stay when you’re homeless (she shouldn’t have to ask) that relationship been over lol she didn’t ghost that man
Not to mention I thought she said they don’t leave each other’s spaces we they get into it but then said she kicked him out of her house when they got into it
If the audio on TikTok is too low, is there any way you could turn down the volume on your microphone? I think that could help stabilize the sound experience for times like this
Yup the first question I had about her story was how she went from “having hundreds of thousands of dollars” to “nothing”. Like what does that mean?
Does she mean that her salary was 100,000 and bc she lost her job she’s saying she lost 100,000
She lost her job so obviously she spent her savings … it happens
She may not have made the best decisions but I don’t think she was wrong for expecting someone she was in a relationship with to be helpful in a time of need
Do you really think her moving in with him was going to be Temporary? How does he ask his girlfriend to leave?
I dont think this even has to do with Ghanaian spend when they like you. This young lady couldnt tell the signs that THIS man didnt like her.
Jessica I thought I was a menace 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 but you are speaking the truth.
Weirdly, the sound is perfect once you watch it on your phone. Only the tv sound is low.
What is going on in the US your nail and hair prices are of the scale. In the UK its nowhere near them prices yet.But the food prices here whew its not easy.
I’m sure it’s real food tho
I was getting the he is married vibe lol
The way I looked at the screen when she said he has pictures on the wall of himself as proof that he owns the home. 👀👀! Gurl, was it a picture of him with a mortgage statement in his name? WTF!! 🤣🤣🤣
The sound is horrible. Sorry Seester😅
Start the investigation show Jesse, I’ll be there for it 🙋🏾♀️
I love you my sister!!! I can't wait to meet you I will be coming on the summer trip!!! HOLLLLLD ONNNNN
If you ask us to turn the volume up for the TikTok, please don’t speak loudly 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Now my ears are hurting 😢
Listen, we Aries women can be delusional in relationships however we are not dumb and we would never tell the internet! 😂
That’s right!! We stay delulu in private 😂😂😂you wont know until we tell you bc we have too pride lol
That last part 😭

That last bit about haitian men 😂😂😂 you are everything ❤
She killed me with that 🤣 🤣
That man don’t want you…but why is she so entitled…exactly why didn’t she ask her friends first….y’all not married and he has every right to do no to having you move into his home…he’s not ready for commitment and he’s telling you that in more ways than one
Nah we like her opinion. Listen to the whole thing. Because young women need to hear from their elders to save them from themselves!
I agree! But I’m still gonna watch because lessons should be learned regardless. When I was 23 I was definitely like a 17 year old
@persiaperez909 these young women don't want to hear anything esspecially when talked down to and Jesse tone was condescending.
@@emmas9928 certain lessons have to be learned from experience and won't be understood when spoken. These young women think they are smarter than they are and wiser than their elders. Allow experience to be their teacher.
