  • In this video Connor and I make a slammed, lowrider skateboard (siometimes called a hellaflush skateboard) the right way! This board uses risers that make the base plates one wth the deck, allowing for full steering and control just like it was a normal skateboard!

Ok since there are so many comments of "why" we did this i thought id ld clarify, the way lowered skateboards came to be is from the import car scene where it is popular to modify your car most commonly by lowering it, and since people liked it they decided to try an lower an old skateboard, it turned out to be a pretty simple task and it became a growing trend. I made one myself as you saw in the beginning and it was super easy and an *interesting ride* (no turning whatsoever) and so then mike approached me with the idea that we shared in this video and we put it into action the board we made still scrapes (which is inevitable because even if the hanger contacts the deck it will scrape), and if you turn too hard will get wheelbite. But l have made a few modifications off camera. l fitted 72.5mm orangutang balut wheels which give me 6.25mm more clearance and im planning on modifying the wheel wells to be not only bigger but more of a trapezoid shape to help with wheelbite.

A low rider longboard would be more practical since you would have way more foot room and they come in various lengths. I saw a site where you can order blank decks fairly cheap too.

Actually there's been studies which show red is more off putting than blue. Example, if there were two of the same exact store right next to each other and one was red and one was blue, most likely more people will go into the blue one because it's more inviting.
