- EPIC Ford collection including a 1 owner BIG TURBO Escort Cosworth with NITROUS! a CRAZY 3.1 V6 Capri, 2 x Mk1 Escorts AND a SUPER RARE 4 door Mk2 Escort RS2000! 😍
#EscortCosworth #Nitrous #Crazy
We were invited by my friend Colin and his brother Duncan to check out their unit which was full of cool old skool Fords.
The brothers both own Zetec powered Mk1 Escorts which boast awesome specs. Colin has owned his Escort Cosworth from brand new and he has recently had to DE-TUNE it because the power kept eating gearboxes. Its also fitted with nitrous. Duncans 4 door Mk2 Escort RS2000 is a rare sight in England as these were originally only available in Austraiia.
The Capri belongs to Leo and has a 3.1 Litre Essex V6 in the bay, wide X-Pack arches, super wide RS alloys, whale tail spoiler, and a crazy blue and purple paint job! 👍

Sweet collection of the classics.
Nice to see the cossie finally getting some love Colin! Some great memories of that car.
Must be one of the only 1 owner Escort Cossies left??? 🤔
@@marcushayesford Surely! We've been going on at him for years to get this back on the road, can't wait to see it back in action!
Fingers crossed he keeps the nitrous!! 🤞 . . . At least until I get a passenger ride! 😀
Wow 😮❤
Love the 4dr RS. My first Escort was a 4 door RS in Monza Red back in Australia. It was my daily driver from 2002 to 2006 when I stupidly sold it.
Tried to buy it back in 2018 when I left Australia but the guy wouldn’t sell it to me.
This one has had some changes I see. Mirrors, fuel tank (which is suprising as the Aussie tank is much bigger and a lot more useful than the piddly UK tank.
Awesome collection!
The Capri trim fabric is mk3 fiesta cica 1992/3 im sure
Some man cave lad 😝nice one Marcus
Dream man cave mate! 👍
Nice garage, the more door RS might have been my mates here in Adelaide a while back, it was yellow and he moved back home to Ireland taking all his small Ford's with him .
Yes it was originally yellow
Thank you Colin & Duncan with Duncan's grandson for sharing your amazing collection of Frods. Great video Marcus love the style of visiting collections of cars with their owners. Cheers.
Thanks for watching mate! 👍 I'm so lucky to be in a position to see so many cool cars on my travels.
Who in there right mind de tunes a cossie 😂
Awesome video Marcus 👍
Got to ask why only the capri with number plate not covered lol
The Capri belongs to Leo and I guess he’s not bothered about having the plate showing. 👍
Nice car collection! Interesting to see the Australian 4 door RS2000. I bought a 2 door one new in 1980. They came in five colours, being Pine n Lime (yellow), Midnight Blue, Monza Red, Snow White, and Burnt Orange. The rear number plate was hinged at the bottom to gain access to the fuel filler and the tank was located under the rear floor. The original filler in the drivers rear quarter panel was fitted with a blanking piece and had a black Escort decal on it. The dash didn't look like the Australian version as the only things in the Australian dash were the heater controls in the centre and the instrument binnacle for the driver. Also the centre console was not original, as the Australian version came standard with a radio in the centre console, and you could have an optional clock fitted below the radio. The Australian car only had three "RS2000" decals. One on each rear quarter between the rear arch and the rear bumper bar, and a small version on the right hand side of the boot lid. The air cleaner housing on the Australian version was metal, round and painted blue.
@14.20 thats intresting re. The positioning of the feul tank ! So i take it they used the spare wheel recess ??? Bigger tank ??
The spare wheel goes on the passenger side on these cars. I’m guessing the Australian tank is shaped to fit in the arched bit of the floor just above but also behind the rear axle. 👍
Awsome Marcus love the capri . Thank you for sharing 👍
Thanks for watching mate!! 👍
