We often get calls when the Husqvarna Automower won't cut the lawn and it's usually because someone has cut the guide wire around the lawn. In this video Anthony looks at finding and fixing the break in the wire so cutting can continue.

I picked up some useful tips, thanks. However I was attracted by the main title advising that it was regarding the "Guide" wire and instead discovered it is exclusively covering the "Boundary" wire...

Any ideas why a guide wire isn’t working even though it’s got a signal? I test the guide wire to go out 100m and it goes about 2m and starts cutting

There are testers that work from above the ground and they only cost $60. This will save all the digging you are doing at each point. It even has a wire extension from the handheld unit to the sensor so you don’t have to bend down. Just walk the perimeter to find the break.

Hi, similar problem on my yardforce mower, the blue light is flashing and having gone round the whole boundary wire with the underground wire locator it has emitted a signal, so at a loss, any suggestions please?

Could a multimeter be used like your device?

The connectors you used are not waterproof and will fail in time
