Great video of this old school technique! I saw Craig Frazier video demo'ing this technique and he's a great artist, however I think your explanation of how to get the design drawn out is excellent as Craig didn't go too much in how to get the design down. Thanks for the great video's!!
Billy, I'm glad you found the video helpful. And I am honored you put me in the same comment as Craig Fraiser, he is a master. So, thank you for the kind words and thanks for watching.
Easy, I use Createx. Been using them for over 20 years. I mainly use Wicked (on helmet) illustration and Candy2o all by createx. I have some videos on Createx. Check them out if you get a chance. Thanks for watching.
@@TheAirbrushGarage thank you. I have been using my Createx paints, so far great success. I did watch you video on using the 4011 reducer which provided great information. My question is do you reduce all most evey color? Also what is the best % paint to reducer you use for helmets? I've noticed every paint sprays slightly different.
Easy, I start with just a drop or two depending on how much paint I'm putting in my cup. Around 10%. But typically it winds up being a little more. Just reduce it slowly until you get the brush to spray the way you want it to. Also, white seems to be the hardest color to spray. Hope this helps.
Country boy, I drew it on transfer tape. Cut each link out, very tedious. Once I removed the mask I also went over it with some freehand. Thanks for the question and thanks for watching.

Not a problem I enjoy your videos I'm very new to airbrushing and trying to teach myself
Just keep practicing. Try not to get to frustrated and know that if you want it bad enough you will get there.
This should be every rider's first helmet!
BMJ, lol. Thanks for giving the video a look. Much appreciated.
