All the drinks will have to be heated by an incinerator and even then they will be cold when they get to the end LOL
I think the jet engine could get them heated up and to the end of the train quickly xD

I counted the coaches, there are 10 coaches in between each class 47 I counted 140 network southeast coaches plus annie and clarabel totaling to 142 coaches on that train

A shame, I have no memories of Network Southeast. The only time I actually remember a train from the 90's was likely a slamdoor unit and I just remember white... perhaps it was Connex, but I really don't remember, being just 2 or 3 at the time

Yeah i'm going to have to try a 3 or 4 mile train if my computer can handle it, would you like to see video footage of it? Anyway good video as always really enjoyed it.
Another note is that amazon currently have train sim DLC on sale under the search 'dovetail games' which is discounted by 70%, many good routes are included, however not all, anyway thought i'd share that with you and if you want to get anything you better be quick as amazon never tell you when the price will rise. (The DLC is PC download in format).

I never thinked more then half a mile long
I counted by 10s, and it was 193 coaches, not including the locos.
You should count the coaches by counting the 47s, then times it by ten, then minus 8!

The reason you are not speeding up as fast as you thought is because of the second Jet engine at the back pulling and the opposite direction.
No its not, the jet train on the back is pushing with reverse thrust, it was speeding up slowly because it weighed several thousand tons.
Even still, that thing should of easily got up over 200MPH
Well let's see, the 2 jet engines would have been producing 140,550 lbs of thrust once you factor in the rear one is reversing, now 2 of those engines can get a 297.6 ton Boeing 777 into the air with a top speed of 590mph at 35,000 ft, however that's with 70% less air resistance and 25% more thrust than our jet train, which weighs about 6354 tons (plus you have friction with the rails), so if you take all that into consideration, its not surprising that this train didn't go that fast.

+Train Simulator Fan we have some trains up to around 3 miles or more! That's because each individual train car has air brakes controlled from the locomotive unlike in the UK.
