It saves my router now, thank's a lot ! Impotant for me was set 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.2 as router and start in reset router after start SW, this simple information was helpfull..
Man I wish I found this video yesterday, I did finally manage to get things going, just like in your video tho. Will definitely like and share to hopefully make it easier for the next guy to locate.
Have no idea about which IP addresses 192.168.1.1 and 1.2 you are talking about. Who generate those addresses and how mikrotik can magically have 1921.68.1.2 when it is not booting into anything and where I can download netinstall when there is none?
Configure a static IP on your machines Ethernet interface (192.168.1.1). In the Netinstall application configure the IP address in the Netbooting menu (192.168.1.2). This will enable the application to communicate with your machine on the same IP subnet
Good day, The first few times you try performing the Netinstall might be confusing, but after a couple tries you will be more proficient and it will be easier.

Good video, nice & simple steps to reset the device🔌
Kia rio 2017 Aircon refill
My netinstall founds the device but doesn't see the packages of routeros
Great stuff
Thank you- well explained.
Thanks for the feedback and glad it was helpful!
what if Port no 1 is defective, but the other port are working? my port 1 is damage due to powersurge
Ether1 can only be used on most devices. Alternatively if your device has a console port its possible to achieve this via serial.

When the rb appears in list all packges disappear .. why?
are they correct architecture?
My RB4011+RM doesn't show up in netinstall after following these steps exactly.
This could be for a few reasons. Make sure you are plugged into the correct Ethernet interface and check your firewall settings on the computer.
thanks
You're welcome!
CONFUSING
Good day,
The first few times you try performing the Netinstall might be confusing, but after a couple tries you will be more proficient and it will be easier.
