This has nothing to do with the scene but I think one of the reason why Abby might have chaotic was because she was never taught how to control her powers, she was abused for using them or loosing control which would greatly impacted her psyschology. I think Abby might not be this chaotic had her mother not immediately rejected her and accept for who she is as a witch and taught her to control her powers properly
But since her father Mr Caine, never really loved her or validated her (basically abandoned) because she was a girl, her demon form grew building a lot of anger and resentment to the point of hurting her human form.

I have to binge watch the new Charmed, but I can tell that it's not gonna compare to the original. I'll give them a shot though.
The original had a bunch of "all powerful" white cis gendered women. I think we've seen enough of that. Aren't you tired of it? (I was definitely a fan of the original).

Upset that the actress who plays macy is leaving the show. Just when I got into it since season 2 it's grown on me so much. Hope she changes her mind and comes back love it.
I believe the perfecti in the new charmed reboot series are the equivalent to the beings in the old charmed series referred to as the cleaners. The cleaners OG charmed were empowered by both sides of magic to protect the grand design by keeping magic hidden similar to the perfecti who were empowered by the entire magical community and appear to be neutral. The cleaners and Perfecti share similar responsibilities erase magic exposed to mortals including beings they deem to be chaotic and rewrite history. The statue of lady justice appears to represent judicial authority similar to the tribunal council of OG charmed.
I thought they were more like the Avatars, but weaker.
Agree they were exactly like the cleaners, even in the way they hold themselves, beings created to keep balance within the Grand Design by preventing exposure.
However this particular scene is a parallels to the Charmed Ones v Billie & Christy final battle

I have always had a saying when it comes to revamping/recreating original programs/songs. The original programs/songs have set the bar when it comes to quality. If the revamped/recreated programs/songs cannot exceed the bar, then DO NOT revamp/recreate them. In the original program of CHARMED, I never seen anything regarding the tomb of chaos. Seems to me that the CW is trying to side step the quality test by introducing material that wasn't in the original program. If this new material can withstand the test from canon material, then perhaps it needs to play out to the end. Otherwise, it is nothing but a disappointment.
This is a reboot sir, for the younger generation, you look old and close to your own tomb, you creep watching shows for teens, go and watch the og fat charmed ones if you don’t like the REBOOT not spin off

When I saw the word "Charmed," I initially thought that it was from the ORIGINAL "Charmed" program - which BTW is still in syndication. If this reboot is for the younger generation, then you can have it. The younger generation doesn't know what quality programming is until they see the original programming, and then they to will see this rebooted version for what it is - a politically correct piece of shit programming trying to out class perfection. Not going to happen.

This is a reboot. It's a complete deviation from the original Charmed. In this reboot, the Charmed Ones is more like a title than a specific coven. According to the lore, there can only be one set of Charmed ones in a generation. Unfortunately, bearing the title also burdens one sister to die in the process.
It is both the same with the original. They’re just making this make more sense. The halliwells are still in this universe as Melinda was in the Vera Book of Shadows. Stating that the Warren line has very powerful witches like the Vera line shows in both their tree and the arrival of their second cousin.
@@MeliMachiavelli It would be cool if they could connect it to the original but they would have to imply that they were in a different reality than the Halliwell sisters. Since the Elders in this show were witches and they created whitelighters, and the Source had to be half demon half human. And in this universe it seems that they are implying that power comes from feminity. Melinda Warren kinda doesn't mean that the Halliwells and Veras share connection in this universe, since in the original she started the ancestral line of the first and only Charmed Ones who came into power in 1998, and in this universe there have been sets of Charmed Ones since the dawn of time.
When Maggie says NOT THIS TIME POWER OF THREE she sound like a bad***. No lie. I would kill to be as brave kind and powerful as her lol. And I wonder if once eveyone came back, if the explosion cured there allergy. Because they were able to touch Jordan and he's magical

The fact that the original COs/OGs weren’t on board with this reboot because the didn’t want to be associated with anything cringeworthy. It seem very disrespectful that y’all didn’t just call this something else and stay away from the recycling of storylines and ideas. It’s creators like y’all that take something iconic and ruin it. Every-time I see something regarding this series From the logo , to the acting , to the soft plagiarism and the failed attempt at distinguish but yet copycat tone of this show I cringe. That's not a fair comparison. Charmed (the reboot and the original) is a drama show that needs to have established limits to ground the plot and give it a sense of peril, whereas Bewitched was a sitcom that uses magic for comedic effect with no real limit to the scope of
stupendous things the protagonist can do. There wouldn't be much if any threat if the Veras or the Halliwells could do what Samantha could. They belong to two very different genres that aren't really comparable.
